Easy to use. Works good. Light is fine considering how small the camera and light is. Sorta hard manipulating it for pushing around objects sometimes but you know that going into it. I like that the cord is semi rigid as you can plan ahead and bend it a little to help with pushing camera to the end destination. Like the ease you can take pictures and adjust camera light or view.

I’m not going to be able to use this for what I wanted. The led light is not bright enough to inspect the inside of a stove pipe. Also, pretty sure it’s not rigid enough. However, it seems to be made well, camera is high quality, software works as intended. I think I’ll be able to use this for something even if I can’t use it for what I intended. I don’t feel like I wasted my money.

I very impressed with the quality and versatility of this scope. The 16-ft semi-rigid snake with dual color cameras, adjustable bright light, a hook, magnet, mirror, and protective tip provides everything needed for most jobs. I dropped a nut down a tall channel of gym set. The snake was flexible enough to make the 90-deg bend, yet firm enough for me to get a straight shot down the channel. I located the nut, then did a second run with the magnet attached. The separate 2nd run would have been unnecessary had I known I could have put the magnet on to begin with. I was surprised how well the camera could see around the magnet! The wide angle ability made that possible. Switching to the side camera allowed me to get a better look around. The magnet was perfect strength -- easily strong enough to hold the nut, but not so strong that it wanted to cling to the channel slide. Being able to record video and take stills was a bonus. See pics. All this for a very fair price.

I wanted an endoscope to examine cylinder heads after removing spark plugs in an engine. I also wanted to photo document change over time for each cylinder head, so needed to capture pictures/video. All the other products "with screens" at this price point did not have the ability to capture pictures/video, whereas this was compatible with my Android phone and used its abilities to capture any pictures/video needed. The free app was very simple and intuitive to use. The photos/vids are saved within the app, but also among your other phone photos. If you want to save them under a different name (i.e. label specific cylinders), you need to change their names in your photo gallery (that might be a useful feature to add within the app itself?). I appreciated the bendable stiffness of the cord, as it would have been much harder to insert into the cylinder head (going down the ignition coil tube and into the spark plug hole) without this stiffness in the cord. The picture quality was great, as was the zoom, focus, and lighting needed. Working on the car, sometimes you have to work purely on feel as you cannot see your work, so this will allow you to get eyes on things you cannot directly see, and will help find things that are dropped (and trickle God knows where without reaching the floor). I do tons of DIY stuff around the house, and I will have many more uses for this endoscope camera besides automotive. Since it is IP67 waterproof, this could do pipe inspections for blockage, or inspect air ductwork, inspect inside of walls, or even just find lost items under furniture (without having to move it). I have not used any of the tool attachments yet, but the hook and magnet could definitely come in handy to retrieve small objects once found. All-in-all, this was just what I needed for my DIY needs.

My son-in-law is very handy and has numerous tools and gadgets for projects around the home, but I found this and he was excited about it. He said it is something he'll be able to use when looking in walls or drains. It hooks up to your phone and then you get a clear view on your phone!
