This product was very helpful in the thankless job of cleaning my drier vent system. I put this job off until my power company sent me a letter stating we were using 27% more energy than our neighbors. Then we realized our clothes were not drying in the drier. These pieces in this kit were of a great help in cleaning both the drier itself and the associated tubing that vents the drier to the outside. It (lint buildup) was thick and blocking the hot air from venting to the outside. Could have had a fire. After using this kit and thoroughly cleaning the duct work we now have a fully functional and quick drying drier. Sheets and towels are going through the drier in 1/5 the time.

When we were first became home owners and not knowing any better, we experienced a fire within our dryer due to lint that had collected. We hadn't had the lint cleaned from the appliances that came with the house. Luckily, it was caught and put out quickly, but the dryer was still damaged beyond repair. Having to replace our previous one due to wear and tear, decided to purchase this one. Was very happy with the brush which had sturdy bristles that scrapped away the stuck on lint. The flexible hose was longer than my previous one and actually grabbed more lint that my previous one had not been able to. Saw how others had experienced issue when assembling, but did not run into any of those issues.

I bought this because we’ve had our dryer for a while and I’ve never deep cleaned the lint compartment. The brush worked well breaking up all the lint stuck inside. I then vacuumed with the suction attachment. It was a little hard to attach the flexible vacuum hose. Once I was able to attach it I had no trouble putting it in the compartment. The vacuum piece doesn’t reach the bottom so it didn’t get everything out like id hoped. I was looking for something a bit easier but at least it worked a little.

My dryer was no longer drying effectively. I shined a light down the vent cavity and could see it was completely clogged. I attempted to disassemble the unit--the screws were frozen. I also attempted to clear the clog with long screw drivers and coat hangers with dismal results.With the long, flexible vacuum hose attachment, I was able to clean out ALL the lint from the extraordinarily narrow vent cavity. The hose attachment was sufficient to completely vacuum out every bit of lint in my dryer, so the brush was superfluous; your dryer may require the brush.

I thought I saw a review that it worked with a Shark Navigator. It didn’t fit but I figured i would try to make it work anyways. I did remove some lint but I also slipped and cut my hand on the vent opening. My fault - still, I sure don’t want to use it again.

I’m glad I really bought this for the vent brush, because the vacuum attachment doesn’t fit my Bissell Powerforce Helix, which I did not think to verify it would so that’s on me. But the vacuum parts that came in the kit don’t even appear to fit together. I tried every combination I could think of, and they didn’t fit.I will say that the brush worked really well, and once I improvised with the attachments, they worked okay as well.

I have been meaning to buy one of this for some time. I have heard or read about too many housefires caused by lint in the dryer lint trip catching on fire. These tools, when used one after the other, seem to do an excellent job of removing lint not caught in the lint trap. I say it seems to do an excellent job because I cannot see all the way down into the lint trap area without taking the dryer apart. But first using the brush, and then the vacuum attachment did remove a lot of lint that was missed by my lint trap.

I love it! I got my dryer back in September of 2020 so I didn't expect to pull out a bunch of lint but when connected the vacuum attachment it to my shark vacuum it pulled out at least a tennis ball size worth of lint. Easy to use and effective.
