It even accommodates the Microsoft keyboard attached. It took me a while to figure out how to make the screen stand up properly in it - but look at the picture in the description and it makes sense. I believe that it will hold up well and develop a nice patina with age. It is beautiful and well made.I accidentally put a hot plate on it, and it took off the dye of the leather in a round shape, which was my own fault, but keep it in mind.The only downsides are that I have dropped my Surface Pro 6 a couple of times, and this case did not prevent damage. The corner of my screen now has a crack in it, and my headphones port is no longer functional because it was bent in the fall. The other downside is that it does make the computer extremely heavy, but that's what you expect from genuine leather.
