Excellent Product
This is a great product. I needed a solution to help with a humidity problem in the room above a crawlspace. The crawlspace is vented to the outside but the airflow is very weak. When I opened the AirTitan it struck me that it was packaged much like an Apple product. Very carefully and thoughtfully packed with everything necessary for installation in a variety of situations. All I had to do was drill 4 holes in the concrete block around the vent and install the new fans. Very simple. Once I connected power and the temperature/humidity probe, the display showed the current environment. Programming was straightforward and problem free. The fans are set to come on when my humidity or temperature levels exceed my settings. The airflow through this fan is set to level 7 (out of 10) and it is perfect for my situation. The product is attractive (too bad it is in a crawlspace) and is well built. Since I've only had it for a couple of days I can't speak for longevity but the company provided information on how to contact their Customer Service Department for support. Don't hesitate to buy this product. I'll buy more for the other areas of our home in the near future.

Excellent fan
Great build quality. Easy set up with supplied directions. This intake fan does not like to the app like the exhaust fan. All programming is on the actual unit. So, that is a slight inconvenience. You have to go to the fan and change the settings. Mine is outside on my swimming pool - pump house. I am using it with wall exhaust fan for excess heat removal from my gas pool heater. The 2 units are working perfectly to keep the heat down and protect the equipment. It is also providing a good supply of combustible air.

Used above a door into bedroom with very poor air circulation
This has been a game-changer for us-- we live in an apartment with open vents in the wall above the bedroom doors for circulation-- but the room is at the end of the AC run, and the single register just can't do enough to properly heat or cool the room. We can't keep the bedroom door open at night because of a toddler and cats or this probably wouldn't be a problem. Additionally (and more importantly) we bought a CO2 meter to see how bad our uncirculated air was getting overnight, and we were shocked to find that our levels were as high as 1600ppm overnight-- way higher than is healthy. I installed this fan in the footprint of the door vent to pull fresh hallway air into the room, and it has reduced our levels to 1100-1200---still not great but WAY better than before-- and it's also helped with the temperature control as well-- I love that it's adjustable-- at 7/10 it's a mild background whir that's nearly inaudible above the existing air filter we have in the room-- neither my wife or I find it bothersome. I also love that the display LED can be turned off-- really grateful for this fan!!!

nice fan, noise levels reasonable. easy to use
Construction - well built. moves decent amount of air . digital speed adjustment, temperature on/off works well. really wish there was a reverse option so I could use this in a return air vent.

Versatile and well made
These are very versatile and they work very well. They are not high cfm units, so don't expect a lot of air movement.

Fantastic Fans
I've had odor problems in my 50 year old crawlspace since I bought the house. Circulating the air with a regular fan didn't really help. I have purchased 4 of these fans, 2 to pull air into the crawlspace and 2 to push old stagnant air out of the crawlspace. Unbelievable difference in the air quality in my crawlspace by doing this. The most amazing aspect of these fans is that you can install them with the controls facing the space or facing out of space where you can see the controls. You can unscrew the face plate, flip the fan blades if you need to change the direction of the fans. And they are pretty weather proof, but not freeze proof, so just remove the fan in the winter. Installation is very easy, they fight perfectly between 16" on center wall studs. It took about 10 minutes per fan to install them. What an amazing manufacturer this is; product works very well, and is easy to install, not to mention how nice they look on the siding. Thanks so much for a great product!!

Practical but loud
Serves a vital purpose of moving air into a cellar to reduce humidity. Convient design and very easy to install. I like the sensors and programmability, set it once and forget. However, it's not quiet at all. The computer-style fans have a controlled speed numbered from 1 to 10. They are loud and clicky when set at 3 and above. At 2 they barely move any air at all so they need to be set higher. The sheet metal bracket also transfers a lot of vibration to the wall. It's all very unpleasant when the other side of my cellar is a living room. I'll see if I can swap the fans for some Noctuas and add some rubber against the mounting wall. At this price they should've used better quality fans, this is extremely disappointing. I haven't checked if it's possible to swap the fans yet, but that would mean an extra investment of $60

Not a solution for high temperature ventilation.
Purchased this because it seemed to be the best solution for my setup. Quality is great and it's a simple design. Definitely not made for an attic or garage for ventilation. The two large computer fans are not large enough to move large quantities of air. Returning item and back to the drawing board.

Was beside myself with the stench coming from the crawlspace - This solved my problem.
I had a bad crawl space smell coming through the ducts. The house is almost 40 years old and I had left things in the crawl space like books and old clothes for years that I'm sure didn't help. We live in British Columbia where it's rainy all winter, probably made it worse. Anyway, I purchased two Airtran fans, one as an intake and the other outflow. The installation was fairly simple but I admit I got my young son down there to do it because I never would have been able to do it right. He placed them where the original screens the builder had installed on each side of the house for crawl space airflow. For the most part they fit nicely, I think the problem my son encountered had more to do with where the builder placed the screens and a 2x4 that was in the way so he had to do a minor modification that I think most men who are handy wouldn't see as a big issue. We completely cleaned out and shop vac'd the crawl space and then sprayed it with Odoban first using one of those outdoor sprayers you use for spraying trees. We left some extra house fans down there for about a week get the air really flowing. The smell is completely gone, I'm so happy because I'd had two separate companies come visit and quoted me $3k-$15k to remediate the crawlspace. This cost me around $400 including the Odoban that I got at the hardware store. The floor of the crawl space is concrete not dirt. Hope this helps someone, I saved a lot of money with this solution.
