How do I turn this off? It keeps randomly saying “it’s time to play”. Is this broken?

Have only had the clock for 1 day (Christmas present) but ours does not randomly say “It’s time to play” so cannot answer.

Is it appropriate for a 8 year old?

Yes. I have a four and five year old using it. It is great for learning to tell time. Way more than I expected.

Does this have an audible alarm or just a light?

It has a real digital clock as well as a learning analog clock. No alarm though. Just a night light when you press the robot's hand that is one color during the night and changes color when it's "ok" to wake up. Hope that helps.

The clock is 2 hour faster than correct time, how do I fix it?
