The flavors are very middle Eastern but good, I enjoy that the taste isn’t overly saturated with sugar but still tastes sweet. The fig cookies are my favorite. The packaging is top notch and everything is also individually packaged. The taste is fresh not stale.

I received them and they expired the day before they arrived. I feel like that's doesn't always mean the product is bad. I that's the cookie and they are super dry and tasteless. The center is full of pistachios, but they had a slightly rancid taste. I didn't get sick or anything but I'm not very impressed.

These came individually packaged in a lovely tin. They were soft, fresh, and tasted pretty good, but I would have preferred something slightly sweeter. These would be a good option for someone who prefers treats that are less sweet.

I love the Pistachio Mamooul! If you are health conscience and worry about too much sugar, this is the best Mamoul ever. It was filled with pistachios and with just enough sugar to have few pieces without feeling guilty about it.

What a disappointment. First, maamoul is supposed to be molded, with a lovely design on every cookie. These were round and smooth, so right away I was surprised. Then I tried one of the walnut maamoul cookies. Where is the rosewater flavor? And there's more dough than filling. My mother used to make these and it took her all day. These seem to be assembly line cookies. I'm not impressed by the individual wrappers; that just tells me they're not fresh. Indeed, they were pretty tasteless. All in all they don't seem very authentic. I bought a generic brand before, and I'll buy it again. These were just not worth the price I paid for them.

What happened, Bohsali? The quality isn't the same. The Maamoul is now smaller and flatter and is brittle and drier as a result. Previous Review: A Welcome Change to the Recipe... Good Job Al Bohsali. I purchased the Al Bohsali Maamoul Pistachio 24 pc. THE BAD When I first opened the box and removed the protective individual cover, I almost had a heart attack... The maamoul was not the typical elongated pistachio maamoul... It had the shape of the Dates Maamoul that I hate beyond words. I was going to call Amazon and ask for an immediate refund... Still, I developed the courage to open the mamouul with extremely high blood pressure, I was soooo relieved to see pistachios not dates. THE GOOD All is good afterwards... The protective cover has been changed now to very dark green, the "new" round and thick shape allows AL Bohasli to put in more Pistachio filling, and much less dry and crumbly semolina-butter dough. THAT alone kept the dough moist and cohesive. Sinking your teeth into such delightful mamoul is a total sin... and it gives you the full bite you remember from Lebanon.... Congratulations, Al Bohsali... I now fully recommend the "new" Bohsali Maamoul Pistachio 24 pc.

I love it, I purchased it for all my friends and families in several cities and states and all received their products on time before Easter holiday. I highly recommend Bohsali 1870. Thank you Bohsali. I recommend to include an ingredient label on the product, it is posted online, but not included with the shipped product. Also if you could place a customer label inside to show who the package was a gift from, I surprised my aunt she had no clue who send it to her, no label from who bought the gift for her.
