These are made in China but are well manufactured. the cutter cuts braid w/o stranding. they stay in the open position which makes putting them back into your pocket a mild nuisance. The steel components rust in salt water but I just clean them after each use. They are an excellent tool that I expect to last for >4y w/o replacement.

The pliers are great ! For the price you can not beat the quality !! The only problem I have is the sheath ripped wear the belt loop is . I recommend a new sheath but for the pliers themselves they are outstanding !!
