APISTRESS COAT Aquarium Water Conditioner 5-Gallon Bottle

This product has an interesting smell to it, but works as describes. It is a water conditioner that has some aloe vera properties mixed into it to help with healing as well as de-stressing your fish.

I used to buy the larger size when we still had a pond (before the raccoons decimated it) and switch to the smaller size for the continued care of my two adopted African dwarf frogs. I added this conditioner with every water change and they lived for over 7 years, which is an above average life span for these frogs. It reportedly works as both a tap water conditioner and a protective stress coat for aquatic life.

I use this on a weekly basis, especially during the summer, to keep my pond balanced from all of the heat and the rain. The stress coat provides an excellent coating for the fish to keep them healthy. The large size works great for ponds because of the price savings.

Works wonders in my 125 gallon fish tank I have 20 fish with babies also..it keeps them calm, and happy lol

It works well and the price is worth what you get at this size. Highly recommend for both fresh and saltwater water changes.

Love that its a huge bottle for the price i would have paid for a small bottle in store.Works like stress coat is supposed to.

Just got a new aquarium set up last week after moving and added in my goldfish, however he immediately became super stressed and swimming frantically. This didn't stop for 4-5 days, then I noticed his gills becoming red and his scales were a bit grey. I bought this along with the API Quick Start after doing some research and coming to the conclusion it could be ammonia poisoning. I changed my aquarium water, added this and the Quick Start, and nearly 6-8 hours later his red fins are gone and scales look normal. He's super chill and not swimming frantically anymore, or tapping on the glass like he wants out. This product works for sure, not sure how but he seems way calmer and healthier than he has been since I've set up the new aquarium.

Some of my plants had brown tips. Told that they had chlorin poison. Since using this product all my plants are now beautiful w/no more brown tips on new leaves. I use10 litres of water with 2 tblspns of this product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This product was recommended to me to use with the water for my plants. I know weird right. It apparently neutralizes, gets rid of something, in the water which is good for fish and plants. I let the water for my plants sit for a minimum of 24 hours. AFTER that I use .333 ml ( approximately I use a syringe ) of this product to 2 liters of water let sit for another half hour then water my plants. I live in a city and water is treated. I have lots of plants and for whatever reason since I have been doing this my plants have thrived. My spider plants no longer have bits of brown on their tips and my african violets seem to like it as well. SO, I don't know if good for fish as I do not have any but I do know great for plants as I have many many. lol

I add a few drops of this to my watering can before watering certain houseplants that are particularly fussy with my tap-water (aka prayer plants) . It helps to dechlorinate the water which in turn will help minimize the chances of your plant getting stressed/damaged in the long run.
