Works great for my 2002 Volvo V70XC. Make sure you have the tool and replace the rubber seal around the cartridge

OEM quality for a good price
Great filter elements; been using them for decades. They appear to be exactly the same as OEM, but in more recent years they are about half the price of what the dealership charges. There was much less difference in price between online and dealer prices in the past but the dealer price has just about doubled.

This is the filter and seal kit you have been looking for!
This is the best filter for the volvo 5 cylinder. Mine developed a leak around the seal, so I ordered this replacement part. It helps to get tool to remove the filter cap, it is much harder to replace the filter and seal without it. Anyway, it is literally a ten minute job to put in this new filter, which fixed my leak. I have a 2000 Volvo C70 with a turbo, but this filter fits a wide range of volvo engines. Highly recommended!

Almost a Five Star
I have used this brand exclusively on my BMW (110K) and Volvo (90K), with synthetic oil changes at 6000 miles religiously, and neither burns a single drop of oil. I have never seen any "failure" of the filter, which remains firm until the end. Unfortunately the price advantage has been eroding over the years- boo. So lost a star for that-

Great filter and o-ring (Does not come with the crush washer)
Perfect quality and fit. This oil filter was perfect for our Volvo and it comes with a new o-ring, however it does not come with a new crush washer so you will have to either order one or pick one up at your favorite local auto parts store. I purchased a deep well oil filter housing wrench as well that I highly recommend. Motivx Tools BMW & Volvo Oil Filter Wrench for 86mm Cartridge Style Filter Housing Caps This wrench will save you a whole lot of headaches.
