Solid Telescopic self-Defense Vehicle Three-Section Stick Outdoor Trekking Pole

I had one of these before and want to get another one. It is an excellent product. When you push the button to open it, it expands under spring pressure, and it holds very well. To collapse it SLAM it full force straight downward onto a very solid surface, such as a concrete floor. This will unlock the position to allow it to collapse. You will then be able to finish pushing the end all the way back in to fully compress the springs. It will then be locked in the compressed position ready to expand at the touch of the button.

Opened once. Thought this is gonna be awesome. Solid, weighty, durable. Realized it was a foot shorter than advertised, figured I'd keep it anyway, cause it felt good. Except it doesn't collapse. So now I have a fancy stick. If anyone figured out to collapse it, I'd love to know. I got it for cheap before the price was raised, I guess I'll keep it. Rip off for 30 bucks because you're not getting what you order. Even at 20 i still paid 30 with shipping. Just know what you're getting if you really want this, because the moment you open it, it's open for good. Carrying case that came with it is useless now that it doesn't close.

It seems well made and sturdy but it's not what I ordered...The description says it measures "37 inches" (or "102cm" which actually equals ~40inches.....) but in reality it's 26 inches.I got this to defend my dog and myself from strays during walks, but it looks like I'll just be continuing to use the 34" switch I pulled from my back yard lolI also cannot close it without bashing into a hard surface like concrete, but I've come to expect that sort of thing from collapsible batons.

Strong, but it gets stuck a lot. Great for a one time use.

A little sticky when detracting but it is solid!

The item I received looks nothing like the product images, and the case shown wasn't in the box either (guess it's not important to future buyers since the product is now listed as "Unavailable" when I looked at the ad on the day I received it.No instructions whatsoever. If I swing it really hard, two sections snap out, but they don't reliably lock in the open position (not great in a self-defense situation).

Solidly built. Appears to be very strong. It was advertised as 37 inches, which is the size I was looking for. I was very disappointed, when it arrived, to see it was only 26 inches.
