Does the trick very well.
My favourite crypto wallet. Well built, easy to use hardware/software, and solid build quality. Can't ask for more.

Great product. Great software. Added peace of mind.
Providing you pay attention to the setup instructions and respect the importance of this step you will find it a simple process to get set up. Don’t give it the time and respect it deserves you could potentially lose your portfolio of assets - be warned! The majority of negative reviews come from people who seem to not research exactly what they are buying. If you are aware of its limitations in terms of storage and how to work around this you’ll be fine. If not, do yourself a favour and just buy the Nano X.Yes, you can only have around 4 apps installed at a time but this doesn’t impact the number of coins or tokens you can protect. Yes it can be cumbersome to uninstall and reinstall apps to send crypto but for me it wasn’t a dealbreaker. It’s half the cost of the Nano X and with supply issues of the X I needed one sooner rather than later so was happy to settle on the Nano S.Would I buy the Nano S again? Yes but not if the availability of the Nano X is better when I need to buy another. Why? The Nano X has capacity for 100+ apps compared to around 4. It has Bluetooth functionality and works with their mobile apps and therefore doesn’t need the cable when interacting with Ledger Live which makes things a little easier.

Works well. Needs patience to setup
Take time and concentration to set up and the process is a bit laborious but worth it when you consider the risk of losing your assets of you do it wrong. It's well worth watching some tutorial videos before you get started. All in all everything went smoothly for me. It's worth noting for newbies that your coins aren't stored on the device or with Ledger, this is just a secure access wallet. Even if your Ledger device is lost, stolen or broken you can still get access to your coins by using your back up seed.

Great product, but make sure you know what you're getting (Do Your Own Research!)
Ledger Nano S is very secure, but takes a little while to get used to and you may quickly wish (as I have) that you got the Nano X for the larger storage. A lot of people don't understand how it works before they get it. The ledger wallet holds APPS. Each variety of crypto has its own app, and each app can be partitioned into multiple accounts (i.e. Bitcoin App may contain BTC account 1, 2 and 3 etc.), and each account can hold as much crypto as you'd like. Example: I have apps for 'Crypto 1', 'Crypto 2' and 'Crypto 3'. I have 2 accounts in each app and (X) amount of coin in each account. The problem with the Nano S is this: Some apps are a lot larger than others, so I was expecting to get 5 on there, but ended up with 3 due to the S having a tiny amount of storage. On my Ledger, one app in particular is taking up half the storage!Long story short: If you are only interested in collection a couple of different currencies the Nano S is fine, but if you think you might at all expand your portfolio in the future, pay the extra and get the Nano X (as I will be shortly). The X isn't double the space of the S, it's many many times the size. Also, never ever ever buy a crypto wallet second hand or from somewhere like eBay where you have no idea who's touched it. Only ever buy it new. You want to know, 100%, that you are only person who's ever used it. It's not like buying a physical wallet. It's the keys to your digital safe. You wouldn't buy a safe from someone if you thought they might be able to come to your house and open it, would you?I hope this helps.

Easy to use Hardware Wallet with lots of supported Crypto-currencies
This ledger nano s does exactly what it says. It was easy to set up, you can download a maximum of 5 apps (app for bitcoin/LTC etc), however, it supports a long list of cryptos, all you have to do is uninstall an app to add another one (this process does not mean you lose anything) it's a process of uninstalling and reinstalling whenever you want to view your accounts if you've got more than 5. This version comes with the new Ledger Live (download app online) which automatically synchronises with the ledger when plugged in. Once you have synchronised, you can just open ledger live without having to plug in ledger to get real-time information. Not all cryptos can be viewed in the Ledger Live window, but for those that are linked via a different 'viewer' - the Ledger creates an address, so when your ledger is plugged in, the viewer window detects your ledger and allows you to sign into your unique viewer account. The only criticism I would give is the support pages on Ledger website are not very good, they work from a position that you have some previous knowledge of how it all works. I used Youtube videos to help me get to understand how some things work - maybe Ledger should consider doing step by step help videos to make the process easier.

If you currently hold cryptocurrencies on an exchange, YOU NEED THIS!
Having owned cryptocurrency for several years, I've learnt that you can't trust any online exchanges or wallets to hold on to your money. There are exchanges out there that could disappear overnight (known as an 'exit scam'), and even if you fully trust your exchange, they could be hacked, and all coins/tokens that you store there would be taken. I've experienced and both and lost money as a result. If you currently hold cryptocurrencies on an exchange, YOU NEED THIS!It supports a large amount of coins & tokens, including all ERC20 tokens. It doesn't support everything (no hardware wallet does), but it supports are very good range of the most popular coins & tokens (and many lesser known ones also), plus there is a very easy to use app which helps manage the coins that are stored on the device).

Almost Perfect
Easy to set up after watching a video on line. Easy to use once you're up to speed with how it operates. Comes with a usb lead to connect to a pc, would be great if it also had an adaptor to connect this lead into my phone as well. A separate purchase sorted this issue. Would also be better if you could keep more than three apps on it at a time, I think removing and reinstalling apps might become trying over time. The more expensive Nano X device solves this issue apparently so might be worth considering.
