Has anyone tried to install it on an r6?

Despite the year of the R6, it will not work. This is specifically for the 07/08 R1 only.

What happens if one of the lights go out down the road??? Is there a replacement bulb of some type?

Yes but I have one over a year now an I never had to replace any thing
