This case fits the Makita multi tool perfectly as well as a battery and tool bits. It’s no exactly a hard case but more of a rigid soft shell but it’s perfect for my needs

The tool fits inside the case. There's just enough room for the instruction manual and a few loose blades. I wanted to put a blade kit in there and while it fit in the pocket, the case wouldn't close. It's a nice case and I like the color scheme but I wish it was a tad bit roomier. Some of my musical equipment comes in cases like this one. I don't know if it'll stand up to work though. Time will tell.

Works great for my tool!

This case is is intended to hold a Makita multi-tool, but it can be used for other items as well. Specifically, I ordered it because I wanted a protective case that could hold my Nintendo Switch with attached grips, which increases the width by a few inches. I have a Switch case, but it's a pain to remove the grips every time I want to put the Switch in the case, and then put the grips back on before using the Switch. My hunch paid off, and the Switch fits perfectly. The case is very nicely padded on the inside, with a single elastic band to secure the tool or item. Velcro lines the edge of the netting in the case lid in case you want to store other items. The case itself is very sturdy and will provide decent protection. I also like the turquoise color used as accents. It doesn't match the Makita blue, but I like it anyway.
