Freedom Staff HC3N-SJ Drive Tool

I'm not big on writing reviews, but this one is so well deserved. Neuropathy has made driving a car impossible in the past 6 months. I have never felt more depressed about anything. Then I discover the Freedom Staff. Freedom is a great description. 5 minutes to install and a week or so of driving to get acclimated to it and wow, off to the races! It's very well designed for the most part and I trust it more each day. I do wish the strap that suspends it from the steering column was beefed and more rigid. It's really no biggie though. Also, I do tend to worry about what might happen if the connections to the pedals were to come loose sometime. This has in no way been a problem, however I do suggest that users check to make sure the clamps are tight from time to time. The product does NOT give me reason to worry about this but I certainly wouldn't want it to happen. I truly congratulate the makers of this product.... not only for coming up with a simple and effective way to transfer control from the feet to the hands but also for not ripping people off. I would have paid a lot more for this device as would most people in my shoes. The price is very cheap for the freedom of motion it gives us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now, figure out a way to manage the turn signal better and we're home free!

I’m still getting used to it, but I like it so far. I can have some independence again.Update: This is the best thing I have ever bought! I am able to drive myself all over with no problems. I feel so much safer with this than I was driving without it. I'm free!
