EFOTIML AI Language Translation Earbuds is one of those products you have to try to believe! These amazing earbuds do what they say they do. I used them to translate some Spanish that I am learning on and they worked amazingly. I spent about 20 minutes translating words, phrases and sentences. It did well. To connect simply scan a QR code for your phone type and download the app. Open the app and use it to set up device then pair the earbuds to your phone. That part is pretty straightforward and intuitive. They paired quickly and without issue. You can speak and have a conversation with both earbuds with another person. There is a lot of technology that has gone into these and in our testing, they seem to work quite well. There were some moments when it picked up some errant sounds and attempted to interpret them. Overall, I would say it is close to 95% accurate for what we tested it for. The sound quality is good. The voice is pleasant and not robotic at all. I am going to be taking these on my next international trip as it will help greatly at understanding the language. They come in a case that charges them by connecting a USB A to USB C cable. Very common standard connectors. The case should keep them clean and protected. Very compact and efficient sized. I can see these would also be a great learning tool as well. They can also be used as Bluetooth earphones as well. These have 3 modes Touch Mode two people each wear an earbud to translate in real time. Speaker Mode One person wears the earbuds and another holds the mobile phone. Free talk mode both wear an earbud to translate in real time, release their hands and communicate freely. For additional cost you can enable Offline Translation mode this is where you translate without internet. You download the language pack for offline use. They also have Audio and video translation and Photo Translation premium packs that we did not purchase. In conclusion these are remarkable and work well. I was surprised at just how well they did work. For learning language, traveling, understanding different languages people speak they do what they say they do. We felt this pair was slightly different from another pair we tested. One of the things that I did not like is the app always defaults to English to French so we had to select our target language every time. Not a big deal but we noticed it. Overall a good product.

I typically test products for about a month before writing a review to ensure it is thorough and unbiased, covering functionality, design, quality, ease of use, durability, and value. Unfortunately, with the EFOTIML Translation Earbuds, it became clear quickly that this product did not meet expectations, as it failed to function as advertised. While I had no trouble installing the One-Click Translate App or connecting the earbuds to my iPhone via Bluetooth, the App displayed an error message stating, “device is not authorized” (see attached photo). This issue rendered the earbuds completely unusable for translation purposes. What made the experience more frustrating was the lack of customer support or solutions. The user manuals provided no troubleshooting guidance, and there was no contact information about the seller to seek help or clarification. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product. It did not function as promised, and the absence of customer support only compounded the disappointment. If you are considering translation earbuds, I strongly suggest exploring other reliable options on Amazon.

I work with a bunch of Hispanics and thought these would be the ticket to helping me understand them. The first time I wore them I got the app downloaded ok and the connection to my phone went ok but thats where it stopped. I wasted more time trying to get them to translate without having to pull out my phone and restarting the app because if it didnt detect any language it would shut down even though i had it set on continuous conversation. Sometimes it would transcribe to the app on my phone then dictate it to me, sometimes it would repeat the same conversation to me in Spanish even tho I had not changed anything from the previous conversation. Sometimes it would do the same thing in English instead of translating it. I figured out that i could tap my left ear to get them started when the conversations would start but they only translated the first few words then it would quit and not translate anymore until I tapped it again and then it wouldnt translate at all and I would have to get my phone back out and open the app because by then it had shut down again and I would have to start it to get it to translate any of the conversation. I wasted more time messing with these trying to get then to work than it was worth. Even then I think I only got about 1/4 of all the conversations I was included in so I really wasn't much better off than before. I am semi bi-lingual and most of the words I did know are the ones it translated. These are a waste of time and money and I do not recommend them. There has to be better options out there.

I have to say that I wasn't sure what to expect with these earbud translators but I am more than IMPRESSED! First let me say that they do translate through an app that you have to download and have open while using the earbuds for translation but the app works flawlessly and it is very simple to use! To respond to them. You simply change the languages around in the app....then you speak your response and the app translates it into their language and if you let them have one of the earbuds they can hear it in their ear. It really is VERY SIMPLE. It says there are 150 different languages... I didn't count but I believe there are! I tried many different ones.... Spanish, German, Dutch, Ukrainian, Japanese, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, Russian and Hebrew and they all worked great. I am sure it will translate all the other languages wonderfully too. The free talk mode is great too! You simply wear the left earbud and give the other person the right one to wear. You can both speak your different language and it will translate and speak it in each person's language. Yes the app is the key to these working and you have to have the earbuds on to use the app. It is a very easy to use app and yet it is VERY PRECISE. And it is nice that you can look at the app and read what the other person said in your own language....and the other person can read it in their own language too! I even saw it written in Japanese and Chinese. I have attached some photos of the app to show how it looks. It isn't always perfect but it's very close to translating it right. I cannot begin to say how much I really like these headphones and the app. I did take a phone call with them too and it worked great for that. You can listen to music and I have to say the quality is pretty good, so they aren't just for translation! At only $60, these are an incredible value!!! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
