What wire is used to fit these lights?

Hi as its only 12 volt I used 1.5 twin wire I've got six lights running off this it's works fine

the units have 2 inputs, is this if you wish to link to another light in a series?

Yes, it gives the another output to run another cable from the unit to another light. Although you could still do that even if there wasn’t a second input

Do these lights come with the case to hold the lights, or does the brick need to be chased out to accommodate the light?

It comes in kit with case at back of lights

Can these lights be used with a dimmer switch?

hiI would say no as when I have purchased led lights before they do state that you can dim them and they are more expensive I brought these ones and they have lasted a year
