Quality TV at A Great Value
I ordered the Insignia FE LED Full HD Smart Fire TV with Alexa Voice Remote for my mom. She wanted to have a TV in her room. This 40” TV was just the right size. The distance from where she sits and the TV is placed is about 7’. She has said it the perfect size and the picture is clear and crisp. It’s a 1080p resolution. She does not see any pixels. It has a slim profile. 35.1”W x 20” H. Keeping her limited space looking clutter free. She didn’t want to hang it on the wall, but it has the VESA mounting holes on the back should you choose to display it that way. We had a friend help set it up and he indicated it was pretty easy to attach the legs and connect to the cable box. The HDMI, USB, Cable/Antenna and Audio ports are on the side and easily accessible. The TV has a several Streaming Service Apps built directly in. So, there was not any need to download the Apps. Just go through your settings and add your WiFi information to be able to log in. The remote is pretty easy to navigate. She hasn’t used the voice command. Keeping it relatively simple for her. But, it’s a great option to be able to have and use. Prices extremely well compared to other similar quality type and size LED TV’s I have seen.

Excellent TV for the price. Picture quality is good. Set up was easy. Definitely works for my teen. Would definitely buy again.

Works great for less
My 40” Element TV was responding slower and slower to the remote control, so it was time to relegate it as a second computer monitor. This replacement Insignia cost a lot less and the picture quality is just as good. Plus, it has an ethernet port which I prefer to use over WiFi, although it works just fine with WiFi too. The only feature that I miss that the Element had was the ability to pause a broadcast program and continue to record the program to a USB stick until you un-pause it.

Overall a good TV, however, sometimes there are volume issues when watching movies via app or USB. Good deal for the price.

Great TV especially for price
I got the 40inch model. I created a catopia out of a guest room. My cats love YouTube videos but they want to attack the TV. So I saw this. It had decent reviews and it was super inexpensive so I wouldn’t be sad if it got destroyed. The TV is great. REALLY great for the price point. My cats really smack the crap out of it and no problem whatsoever. Picture is awesome. If I had one complaint it’s that the sound is a little tinny sounding. But for a $129 40 inch TV I am totally ok with that. You can always get a sound bar if you really wanted to. I would buy again and I would definitely recommend to friends.

NO SOURCE BUTTON on REMOTE, TV goes to sleep and then has to be redirected through numerous steps.
I have only been using this for a few days. So far so good... EXCEPT!!! I mostly use this as a MONITOR for my PC. PC are supposed to sleep as programmed to save power. However, every time my PC goes into sleep mode, the SMART TV shuts off. When I wake it up, it reverts to TV mode. THE REMOTE HAS NO SOURCE BUTTON. So, each time I need to use my PC, I have to go through multiple steps to get the desktop to return. THIS IS ANNOYING. What person thought they do not need a SOURCE button on the remote????
