I really loved this tripod. It’s very affordable and works perfectly. It’s lightweight, easy to adjust, and very stable for both cameras and phones. Perfect for videos, photos, or live streaming. For the price, the quality is excellent. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something good and budget-friendly.

While this was obviously designed for either very light video cameras or a phone ( comes with a phone holder), I was able to utilize it with an 8 pound Sony NX video camera while assuring I never let go the control arm. Since I was front row center in a venue balcony with 12 rows of patrons behind me, a full size professional tripod would have blocked the view of patrons. By using this much smaller and lighter tripod I was able to not be blocking the view of even the people behind me. This isn’t something you would like to leave a heavy camera on unhanded, it did suffice in a tight limited space. I will admit I also tied a 10 lb weight bag to the tripod to keep it from tipping with the heavier mounted camera but this tripod held up well and functioned for the need quite well. Given its construction for a lighter weight camera I found this an exceptional buy given its multisectional legs, pan tilt locks and yes even a balance bubble. For those using the newer iPhones or other this tripod would be the professional choice for that style production.

Out of all the tripods I’ve tried, this tripod is definitely my favorite! It’s incredibly stable, very easy to use, and the height adjustment works smoothly. The phone holder is secure, and despite its tall size, it folds down to a compact and portable shape. Excellent functionality and quality — perfect for both filming and photography!

I had some concerns when first setting up the tripod. The legs had a lot of play in them once extended. Once I closed the top clamp, however, the legs were solid. Assembly was easy, took just a few minutes to complete. I like that the tripod included two quick release adapters. I don’t expect to need two, but still a nice thing to have. I do find the lock for pan and tilt to be a bit odd, and I find that it is difficult to keep the head from unscrewing when you forget to release the pan lock before attempting to pan - it takes no motre force to start to unscrew the head than it does,to pan. For the price, it is a decent tripod. If you expect high end features and operation from it, you will be disappointed. It would be like expecting prime rib for hot dog prices. Would I purchase it again? Yes. Would I suggest it to others looking for a budget tripod that is usable? Again, yes. Would I recommend it to someone looking for a high end experience? No.
