fantastic product,works as it should, no leaks but note it is made in china with no serial/model badge. goodyear logo rubbed smeared while fitting so it just wipped away? online reviews do state made in china but with hose marked as made in usa, this hose also does not have a usa mark so all chinese. i use it daily and have no problems with it. was discounted to €100. well worth it. its solid. i recommend it.

Very nice quality hose reel. I don't like the colors and the branding on it but it's a tool so don't care too much. Works flawlessly.

As a simple home user, I almost bought a cheap plastic hose reel but seeing this one for only about $50 more, I decided to splurge just a bit. I'm so glad I did. This is a bold, heavy-duty product that I'm sure will last for a very long time. It has a good quality hose rubber, a strong spring mechanism (I'm still getting the hang of convincing it to latch reliably - perhaps it's just me). 4 lag bolts are included (although I found it easier to replace 2 of them with hanger bolts - it's a bit tight getting a wrench into the bolts.) A 6 foot hose is included to connect the reel to the compressor, and a quick-connect fitting as well. As for the pros and cons, starting with the pros: - Sturdy, strong heavy-gauge steel frame and reel. - High quality rubber hose. - Good spring-back force on the reel. - Haven't detected any leaks - good smooth operations. - Bright blue paint and Goodyear logo look great. Cons (both are minor): - The spring lock seems a bit harder to get to engage than other reels I've used. - Instructions are a bit unclear as to whether removing the reel from the bracket (to ease in mounting) will cause the spring to unwind or cause any other calamities. Chose not to risk it. Overall, I'm entirely happy with this purchase and recommend the product.
