Emigre Men's 100% Cotton Striped Seersucker Suit

This suit is a perfect fit and feels very well made. The seersucker fabric is lightweight, breathable, and ideal for warm weather. I had the legs tapered during alterations, which gave it a clean, modern silhouette while keeping the classic Southern summer vibe. I’ve received a ton of compliments both times I’ve worn it. Definitely a standout piece.

A nice suit...very nice, in fact, for the money. It's a handsome, lightweight, warm weather alternative to a traditional lounge suit/business suit, which I will be happy to wear on those hot Summer days in June, July, and August. The great thing is that the jacket can be worn as a separate with chinos on occasions demanding something less formal or less uniform than a suit. My one complaint, however, is the shoulder pads. They are a bit much for a seersucker jacket, which some would argue ought not to have any padding at all. This was disappointing. I would have given five stars were it not for the excessive shoulder padding. Delivery was quick, however. I opted for free shipping and still received my order in only four business days.

I only rarely review my purchases, but this suit exceeded my expectations completely. Delivered promptly, well packaged, as soon as I unpacked it I knew it was a winner. Suit sizing is difficult person to person, and I was amazed that it worked so well for me as I am not an easy fit. Quality of fabric and construction are far superior to what you would expect for the price. I needed a certain look for a garden wedding, and this nailed it. The greeter at the event said to me “great suit! So appropriate!” Which meant a lot as it’s the first time I had worn a suit in 15 years. Back in the day I had many fine suits; I routinely paid 4X more for a suit 30 years ago than this one. The tan stripe is very handsome; I also ordered pink as it’s trending - it’s very pink! That went back, but if you are trimmer and younger than me the pink could really work. Overall 5 stars, for sure. I may only wear it the one time, sadly, but that one time was perfect.

I got this for my husband because he always runs warm and loves his other seersucker suit. I was happily surprised with the great quality, and it fit him great too! Just had to hem up the pants. The color is really nice and subtle with the tan and white, while still having the distinct seersucker look. Really great price as well! I had a hard time finding them elsewhere except for 3x's the price! Definitely would buy again.

Really surprised . Good quality and true to size . We had pants hemmed and suit pressed at the dry cleaners and it looks great. Better than spending $500 and wait 5 weeks for delivery !

actually, a lovely summer suit Order jacket 1 size above your size-> I'm 42 I ordered 43<- Jacket a livable smidge tight,though going 44 would have me looking "disheveled" Trousers: come in way to big in waist & obviously hemline to size-> nothing drastic for taylor to make quick work of. I'm a 34 pant What do you expect without trying on and buying over internet: the Exact same hem tayloring except waist/crotch bringing in. Trouser tayloring cost comes in at $35 for me. I give this suit an %87 out of %100 - four and a half Stars. I suspect,no sudden movements for fabric is feather weight-great for July in Philly heat/humidity
