It is unusable for me! It looses sound quality to such extent that I can't use it. I am wondering that nobody has mentioned it yet. I lost £6.70.

I needed an extension for my headphones to watch TV at night, so I bought the 5 metres cable, after reading so many positive reviews. For £6.99 it looked a good deal. When the cable arrived it looked solid and sturdy, but after two months of frequent, but careful use, the sound had gone missing on the left side. I always take good care of my cables, and have earphones/headphones that still last the test of time, so I guess this one is just poorly made. Next time, I will remember to ignore all the positive reviews, and just trust my instict, which says it was too good a deal to be true.

Failed outside of warranty period with extremely light use during that time. Disappointed.. buy a different cable if you want something decent.

I bought this so that it was easier and quicker to plug in headphones or speakers into the back of my monitor. As such it has been used very little - it has remained plugged into the back of the monitor since I bought it, with only occasional changes between headphones and speakers.Mine broke after 3 months of use. I'm honestly really ticked off with this product.

Ok at first but after a few months of just occasional use it developed a fault. You can only get mono sound unless you juggle it around a bit until the stereo crackles into (temporary) life but soon becomes mono again.

Good as long as it worked, but after a few months the jack broke despite my being quite careful with it. No way to contact the seller as it was past the 30-say return period. Seller if you read this please contact me by replying to this message!

I'll admit that the only reason I ordered this cable was that it allowed me to choose from a variety of different lengths, and seemed reasonably-priced. I went for the 5m version. The length includes the connectors at the ends (which might be important if you're ordering a shorter one).I was pleased with the build quality. The cable is about 2mm in diameter (so neither bulky nor flimsy), the ends are a well-finished grey metal, and the connectors themselves are gold-plated. There is a solid click when they connect to another cable, and no matter how much I wiggle the connection, there is no hint of wobble, and no crackling in the audio signal.I'm very happy with this cable, and I would buy again.
