This one is a bit wider so it's easier to not burn yourself when pouring in the ingredients. The metal on the sides looks nice to me and is durable, but the metal for the bottom door is thin and flimsy, same with the seed catcher tray, but honestly I'm fine with that. It heats up pretty quickly and I've had no problems with it so far, the popcorn tasted pretty great. My biggest problem was with getting the thing in the first place. The first time I ordered it, Amazon decided they didn't feel like shipping it for some reason... no idea what happened. So I had to contact Amazon and get them to ship me another one. Thankfully the second one did ship, and I recieved it in a week. Having to wait over 2 weeks to receive this thing was a bit annoying, especially because I was having company over, fortunately it arrived the same day I had to entertain guests.
