CondorTool & Knife, Toki Knife Brown

Great knife. I have used this extensively... balanced in the hand as well as on the bench (holds an edge well, but fairly easy to sharpen). Like others, I really like the sheath, noting that the smaller Altoids tin (about 1/4 regular size) fits perfectly in the pocket on front (containing fish hooks, monofilament, very small sharpening stone or just dry tinder).

I liked this knife so much that I immediately ordered a second one.I already owned a Condor machete.I have several acres of dense forest in an undisclosed location. If I had more cash I’d buy every condor knife, test them and post a review for each.

I have had this experience twice, lately, with Condor blades. Tried several things to get the rust off, and managed to remove all of it, but the blade still shows discoloration where it was. It's a use knife, not a safe queen, so I guess I don't really mind too much, but it still peeves me that Condor can't at least get them to us before they rust.

Amazing knife. Batons, Feather sticks, and does some chopping too. Just a very nice piece of equipment. Condor is going to rise through the ranks with these new models. Also just FYI, the photo they have for this product is the selknam and the photo they have for the selknam is the toki (this product).

This is my sixth Condor purchase, and my new favorite. Beautiful little knife, came with a good edge. Sheath crinkly, but after warming up in the house overnight became more pliable (think it was the cold). A few tiny irregularities on the tang, a crack or two in sheath, but performs very well. Would buy again.

The only drawback is the lack of belt loop for an alternative to the dangler system. It’s otherwise a nice sheath.(Update : My bad, I forgot that I took the dangler off some time ago. Have recently decided to give this knife a fair shot again)

Knife was dull. Leather sheath was dry and crunchy. I sent it back. I really liked the set up of the sheath-too bad.

The knife itself is excellent quality. Beautifully balanced. Typically for Condor though, it requires a fair bit sharpening before it is really useable. Not a surprise for me, (I own a half dozen Condors, and they have all been the same), but a bit annoying. Oddly, (for Condor), the sheath sucks. Leather was dry as dust, and the stitching was erratic and messy. I'll be having a simple pouch sheath made for it, minus the 'bells and whistles' on the original. All in all, a fantastic knife at a great price, as I have found all Condors too be. Not knife related, but shipping was slow. I'm a prime member, and this is my 3rd order in a row that has arrived (days) late. I cancelled my prime membership.

Für den Preis habe ich etwas mehr erwartet.Die scheide ist extrem hart, so dass das Messer schwer reingeht. Herausziehen ist kaum möglich, wenn es ganz drin ist.Klinge nicht optimal geschliffen.Liegt gut in der Hand und macht einen Stabilen Eindruck

J'adore le couteau ! Il est superbe. Par contre, l'étui... c'est pas terrible.
