Playmobil Green Recycling Truck

I bought this for my son when he was 18 months old (I know it says for ages 3 and up but please read on as this toy can absolutly be for any age). He is two and a half now and still plays with this truck at least every other day. It comes with some pretty small parts but I put all of the small parts in a plastic baggie and put them in the basement for future use. I kept out the main trash truck, the trash can and the trash can lid. This thing is amazing! It is very detailed, he has gained some fine motor skills by "dumping" the trash can into the truck. As for the durability, perfect for toddlers. It has "broke" at least 20 times, but when it is dropped or mishandled, I am certain it was engineered so that the pieces that "break" off from every angle it could poasibly break so that they snap right back into place worth no less ware and tear than when I first bought it. I looked at so many trash trucks and am very happy this was the one I chose. And playmobil has thousands of other toys that I can now just add on to when his interest changes (already bought the school bus too). And have made it a tradition to add to their collection every christmas. His little sister now gets her own collection but they can play together since they all snap into each other and work with all other playmobil toys. You will not be disappointed in this toy.

My 2 year old is obsessed with all things trash truck. We have about 6 toy garbage trucks, most of which have electronic parts and sirens. I like that this one has none of that. He has to completely use his imagination to work with it, which isn't hard to do considering it includes a garbage can, pieces of garbage, and two garbage men. I also like that it easily comes apart. My son can't destroy it like other toys, because the pieces are made to easily come apart and put back together. The cab comes off, the little silver exhaust (?) pipes behind the cab come off. My son likes to take these off and include them in the trash. Very cute toy. My favorite of all my son's toy garbage trucks, probably my son's 2nd or 3rd favorite out of 6 (only because the largest trucks hold bigger pieces of trash!)

My 6 yr old nephew has autism and is just enthralled with the recycling truck ( as well as the garbage truck ) this arrived today and his Nanny & Pop Pop gave him the box , Parents this is worth EVERY dime ! ( and it's a considerable amount cheaper @ Amazon than the popular "toy store" . It does all it promises and more , it was still making runs and being loaded hours later , with a bin that attaches to the rear of the truck , the hopper locks down for dumping , 2 handy workers and some interesting recyclables , this toy is a winner ! 5 stars and very well made !

This is a great idea for a toy. The garbage can empties into the truck and the truck opens so you can take the trash out. My only qualm with this toy is how easily it comes apart. The exhaust pipes pull off the truck very easily and I am always having to put them back on.

We gave this to our two year old son even though the age was 4 and up. The only small parts are the figures' hats and plastic cans and bottles in the bin, but he plays just fine with these removed. This toy is very well-designed. The recycle bin can be lifted into the truck on the back. The back opens to empty all the recycling out. We have found many different objects fit in the back of truck such as blocks and other toddler toys. The cab is removable so the figures can be placed in the truck. Another nice touch is the rubber tires, which can be removed when the truck needs "servicing." A great toy, easily played with by a two year old!

I purchased this for my son because I too had playmobil as a child. This is not the same quality as I remember. The exhausts fall off, the drivers hair and hat have fallen off and the back door snaps off really easily. My son still loves it because it is a garbage truck which he is all into now. There are many, many small piece to lose so it may be wise to either hold onto them separately till they are old enough or just face the fact they will be lost within a week. I will think twice before purchasing any more playmobil toys in the future. Not quality, expensive and not like they used to be.

I ordered this for my grandchildren because I had bought the camper van and was blown away by its quality. However, I was very disappointed in this recycling truck. Pieces keep coming off, the "garbage" pieces are very nondescript, the trash can won't stay on and the can's lid does not fit the construction of the dump area. The only things of quality were the people.

I purchased this for Christmas for my 2 year old son who is obsessed with garbage trucks. He absolutely loves it. It is very sturdy and has held up well to the abusive nature of little boys. :) The garbage can works very well, and the back of the truck holds a lot (not just what came with it). The only downside is that the fake garbage that comes with it is about 20 very small pieces, so they are now scattered around the house (and a bit of a swallowing hazard for smaller children), but they make it very satisfactory to dump the garbage into the back, so of course my son loves it. I would highly recommend - Playmobil is an excellent compay.

Ordered this for my 4 year old grandson his words " thank you nanny i love my truck". Item arrived within 24 hours of the order being placed, my daughter said it was easy to put together and was well made, would def recommend this item. I chose playmobil as my daughter used to play with it when she was younger and I have always liked the range. Good for those with imagination and role play. Love the accessories although have to watch them with young children.

My son loves it, be careful lot of small pieces, some of the components of the truck might by pulled off by kids, I superglued some.

I purchased this for my 2 year old grandson who loves it but unfortunately so does his 5 year old brother. They have both played with it very much. It has lots of play value, including the opening of the truck in which they can load all sorts of things including, lego men, cars and knights and horses. The front windscreen cover comes off and they enjoy putting the drivers in and out. Grate value from Amazon - again.
