I'm 5'6", weigh about 146, usually wear a medium. Extra large long fit nicely. I want comfort and easy, not tight. I did put them in the dryer on very low almost cool to get out the wrinkles. Shrunk slightly, perfect fit. I better not gain any weight. Very glad I chose that because any smaller and I would of had severe camel toe and that is NOT a look I want at all plus more importantly it’s very uncomfortable - I don’t want to be pulling fabric out of my crevices .Now I know everybody is built differently so here are some of my stats , I’m 5’8 and about 175 lbs with a large butt . My rear end causes problems with finding the right fit with many , many pants so I’m not entirely blaming these pants , however , I feel the rise is cut rather short on these and also I thought the waist on these had the smocked elastic all around but its just on the back side and the front is regular fabric - my fault for not noticing that , I wish it was the the smocked elastic waist all around . Now all that being said these are really beautiful & unique , I like the fabric , very breathable and flowy , the legs are so wide it looks like a long dress . Because these are cut short in the crotch there’s a bit of it wanting to ride up my butt - wearing brief style silky underwear stops that fortunately .
