Can i use it in an above ground fiberglas hot tub?

As the manufacturer of this product, we can only recommend per label directions therefore, this product is intended for use in swimming pools. There is an HTH Clarifier for Spas that would be more suitable for hot tubs.

Will this clear water with iron and minerals?

Most likely depending on how much particulate matter is suspended in the water. Best advice is to spread the recommended diluted solution amount over the top of the water. Run your filter for at least 48 hours non stop. BACK FLUSH YOUR FILTER AT THE END OF 2 DAYS NON STOP RUNNING. Check to see if in fact the water is clearing. A 2nd and even a 3rd application may be required. It can take DAYS, even a week to clear the water with multiple applications. IMPORTANT - Repeat back flushing between applications.
