My son is five years old and weights 45lbs He is tall for his age I had to buy a small So it’s depends how much We weights You want it to be a little tight!!!!! And here a little tip watch he don’t get over heated because then he will not want to wear it So like after school take it off and let him cool down take a shower or bath or go in a pool Good luck

I don’t believe so. The fabric holds up very well, not seeming to lose its shape or get stretched out.

It does make the chest appear a bit smaller. It's more of a compression for kids who needs the feeling of a hug or tightness on their torso.

We would still recommend measuring the chest circumference and using the size that corresponds with that measurement. The shirts are made from stretchy material and should still fit. Also, they are meant to fit snuggly. However, if you find that the shirt size that you choose does not fit properly, please exchange it for a bigger size.
