**Q: How do I open it to empty it?**
A: Not force, one hand. The design is confusing. Most people are using the indentation for the lid to open de cap. That needs extra force. If you apply a little pressure from the side, you release the small tooth gently. The video on youtube requiere to much force on the plastic.

**Q: For Prismacolor colored pencils, which is best: the Prismacolor Premier pencil sharpener or the Prismacolor Oval (bullet shaped) Pencil Sharpener?**
A: I love this Prismacolor sharpener.  It is easy to empty and makes a very sharp point for controlled, layered drawing. I am ordering a second to keep in my travel art bag. I don't recommend this sharpener to sharpen an initial box of unsharpened pencils--for this I would use an electric sharpener. But, to keep at your desk to keep your pencils sharp, this works really, really well.

**Q: Is this a manual or electric sharpener? I can't find anything on this page that specifies which one this sharpener is...**
