Great for camping
Works way better than the electric ones. I use it for camping but I have used it out our house in emergencies. Leave no plastic taste. It doesn't create a great seal but you don't really need it to to work just sucks when transporting it because you have to put the lid back on the bottle

JUNK!
First, I wanna say I have another exactly like this. My other one came in perfect shape and I used it for years well first off this one did not come together, second off it came with no directions. OK it was not hard to figure out, but it doesn’t work. I only purchased this one because I couldn’t afford an electric model at this time. I am a disabled grandmother on Social Security so I went with the cheapest option I could find. I cannot lift the 5 gallon jugs that I use for my drinking water and that my neighbors are kind enough to pick up for me. So I am out money and still cannot get the water out of my jugs. Amazon used to come to your house to pick up returns but not anymore. I am a shut in and the return center doesn’t open till 3 PM and I have no way of getting there. So this is another Amazon purchase that’s going in the trash.

Good quality dispenser if you can secure It To The Top.
I like to take a 5 gallon bottle of water with me when I travel. I purchased this water bottle dispenser in a hope that it would make it easier to get the water out of the bottle. Although, it does indeed help get the water out of the bottle, it is very difficult to put on top! In the end I never did actually get it to secure completely on top and it did fall off. Replaced it multiple times and it kept falling off. If I could figure out how to attach it more permanently or securely I would probably give it five stars. I like the tubes had extensions and there were enough to reach to the bottom of the jug. I just did not like that I could not secure it to the top of the bottle.

No electricity needed
Hurricane season will be here before we know it. Have some 3 or 5 gallon bottles of water you need this! No power needed. Works great

Good, not great
Works well for the first few months but now the top has come undone and it leaks quite a bit after pumping. So you have to leave your cup and wait for the leaking to stop. I do like that you dont have to charge it

Great to use with water jugs
Easy and simple. I will buy more. I have the button rechargeable ones and prefer to use this one

This pump makes emptying a water bottle easy.
This pump is for people who don't want to set up a water cooler or crock. I prefer to keep the water jugs on the floor in an unused room, but this means that I cannot just drain the water into a pitcher for the fridge. I received this pump quickly and found the parts were pretty intuitive to assemble: the schematic diagram on the box was unnecessary. I tried pumping water out of a cup into the sink in order to rinse it out, but the pump doesn't work unless it is sealed onto a water bottle. It does not suck water out of the jug, it forces air into the jug which pushes the water out through the spout. This is a clever way to do this as I believe the pump can be more compact. The pump comes with three sections of tube which you screw into the bottom of the unit to carry the water up to the spout. I use three-gallon jugs, so only two sections are needed; a five-gallon jug would require the third section. To install the pump onto a jug, you just push the pump onto the opening with enough force to seal the top of the jug to the rubber gasket. This takes very little effort. Then you just slide the outer locking ring down to hold everything in place. It may sound complicated as I describe it, but it is actually very easy; you can do it in under 10 seconds. When you push down on the plunger you are actually improving the pump's seal to the bottle. Pretty sneaky, eh? When you first try it, you ask yourself, "How can this possibly work?" It does. I did pump out some water to rinse out the pump before actually filling my fridge water bottle, but I rinse or wash all new plastic food items as they are often lightly lubricated for ease of assembly. I pumped out just a few ounces of water for this. All up, I think this is a handy little machine that will save you a lot of effort. You won't have to wrestle with pouring water from a 25- or 40-lb. jug without spilling water everywhere.
