They are water resistant but do soak into the sole and will begin to smell over time especially if you don't press the water out of the sandal after exposure. I set a side a pair for fun and play and a set for inside the house. Love these they save my back everyday!

They are light and would probably fit a narrow foot better than a wide one

Q: Are these water repellent or water proof??? If they get wet will they get damaged?

No damage, but like others say, they take forever to dry. If I get them wet, I usually let them sit outside for a day or 2 to dry out.
