Magnum MedicalShears EMT Stealth, Tactical Black Finish

These will cut a slice into a penny but will not cut a penny in half (= minus 1 star)! I actually returned a pair of this kind of scissors that cost half this much as these that worked exactly the same as these. Now I feel bad about that because these are no better at cutting pennies in half. These are more comfortable on my hands than the ones I returned and I do like the black color. I need them for work so they will have to do.

I had a sever burn on my forearm, these shears worked even with my clumsy off hand, and allowed me to cut the guazes and wraps I needed place on the wounds. Literal lifesavers, no complaints.

Product is decent for the money. Fit and finish is horrible, but function is good. It does what it must it’s purpose is: cut stuff.

I purchased these to use in the ER after owning a very similar pair. I don't know if these were just not as tightly made, but the cutting isn't as strong as prior, very similar shears i've had before. With a prior pair i could cut a penny. These were not at all capable of that....not that you would be needing to cut pennies....but...Im relying on a great pair considering its a Trauma Level I hospital and will be utilized.

You have to use them like shears they aren’t scissors. Starting to feel loose two years later but a trained hand can still cut off the clothing.

I have had a lot of trauma shears through the years. I have never really gotten attached to any of them. But I am attached to these. They look great, cut marvelously, and don't have a cheap feel to them. I have owned them for a few months at the time of this review and they have survived 3 different codes. I am definitely going to order these again if they get lost or walk away.

These shears seem pretty good, given the low price. I checked them out on some various fabrics and found that they worked well. Time will tell if they are durable and stand up to usage. My only criticism / concern is with the pivot rivet,, it seems fairly flimsy and might cause problems with heavy fabrics.

I really like the design of it. It's all black like promised. However, it can't cut through a penny, which is alright (not like I'm going to be cutting pennies in the field), but it says it in the description that it should. Excited to start using them.
