At such a low price point, I didn't really expect these to work well. To be honest, I am so sensitive to onions that I can't cut them, so I bought these to wear in my house while my husband chops without issue. And they really do work! I have been able to get within 10 feet of a chopped onion without my eyes burning and tearing up, and they are surprisingly comfortable. I forgot I had them on one afternoon and wore them out to get the mail, haha. My neighbor just stared at me......so my own "looking absolutely bizarre to get the mail" experience aside, these are worth the purchase and the price. My husband did try a pair as he was cutting, but since onions don't tend to bother him, he said that he noticed "only a slight difference" in that he could get a foot or two closer to the onion than before. But for me? They make a big difference. I'm happy! They do what they're supposed to, so, how could I complain?

The best ones for glasses wearing people, they don't fog up at all and i work at hot condition areas. Will deffenalty get another pair. Holds on great and great price.

Update: they dont really work, still crying but they are good quality and they make good protective eyewear for the shooting range.They work, no crying

First day I used these, They broke! At first I was... Ok... First pair was maybe my fault.... Nope! Same day, 2nd pair broke! Do not purchase these cheap goggles!

They do ok.... compared to other types of goggles I’ve had in the past, these do not have near as thick of foam around the eyes so you really have to push them against your face to prevent open areas, and then there are still gaps, so you sometimes still get eye irritation when cutting onions. Overall, is better than having nothing, but not my favorite design.

After being popped in the eye with hot oil I decided to try these goggles. They are comfortable and cover my eyes very well. There's no room for eyeglasses so if you need room for that you might try a different style.

I would say that these glasses helped reduce about 50% of onion eye burn.

Bought these for my husband how chops all the onions. Lately with red onions he was having excessive tearing. Had seen these when browsing in Amazon Smile. I was skeptical, but tried them anyway. My husband loves them and says he chuckled to himself when I gave them to him, but didn't say anything. He says they are way above his expectations and would recommend them to anyone who has to hand chop a lot of onions.
