Efferdent Fresh Guard Crystals, 24 count

I've been searching for a product that is safe to use on mouth guards and I'm glad I purchased this. It's fast and effective and leaves my mouthguard feeling nice and fresh as if I had just gotten it cleaned at the dentist. Some people had complained about a weird aftertaste in their guard after using this product, but I didn't really taste anything. I did rinse it with cold water after I took it out of the solution so maybe that's why.

This is by far one of the best Fresh Guard by Efferdent - SoakSpecially Formulated to Clean: Retainers, Mouthguards, & Removable Braces thatKills 99.9% of Odor-Causing Bacteria product for night guards. I tried other brands and other items and they still made my night guard yellow and still looked a little dirty. This one cleans better than others. I purchased this night guard about a few months ago, and I really like how it stays clean and very clear as if it was new again by using FreshGuard. My family and friends were surprised in what this item can do. It is an item that I am looking forward in purchasing more.

I bought this product for my retainer. It works well at cleaning and freshening my retainers. My only complaint is that it did cause my retainers to yellow. I do not really care because I wear them at night, but I suppose this would be a problem if you have clear aligners. Other reviewers complained of the powder and how it is irritating if inhaled. I noticed this problem as well. To help, I open the package with scissors and fill my cup with water before emptying the powder into the cup. I also step back way from the cup. It helped lessen the amount of powder aerosolized in the air and limits the amount I may inhale. I had problems with other retainer cleaners, so I just deal with the minor annoyances of this product. It cleans and disinfects so that is most important to me.

I love this product, as my retainers are basically the equivalent of an invisalign. I was a little disappointed that it did not also come with the wipes like the free samples did that I got from the dentist. Nevertheless, it was a lot of product for a good price. It's the best one that I have come across with my 6 years with the same retainers. The dentist also likes it and approves of the cleanliness that it provides- so that's an added bonus for me.

I have no doubt this cleans well but holy moly it smells like powdered bleach. Don’t inhale when you open it and be sure to put the bowl outside while it soaks or your entire bathroom will smell like bleach. Gag. Going back o plain old efferdent.

I really like this product. Since this is already in powder form, it dissolves as the water hits it. I find that the solution color clears more quickly and seems to take more stains out of my night guard than the tablets. I, also, like the packets (thin & long like some of the sugar packets in restaurants) because I can get more of them into less space than the tablets when traveling.

This is much better than using soap. You can taste how clean the night guard is. Couldn't find this in pharmacies, so happy I found it here in Amazon. Great product! Will buy again.

I have Invisalign and use this to clean them. I sprinkle it on and use a toothbrush to scrub them clean. It works great!!!!
