How long does it take to cool down? We are thinking of purchasing for tailgating, need a fairly quick cool down.

I purchased a 22 inch blackstone for tailgating and had the same concern. I just seasoned it and had it up to 500 degrees on a 90 degree day. After I shut it down I checked the surface temp with a heat gun. In 25 minutes the surface went from 500 to 100 degrees.

How high would this griddle be with the hood detached?

Upon measuring our griddle from the griddle without the top to the ground is approx. 34". However the legs are adjustable and our ate the whole up out for adjustment.

Can this unit be used indoors

This unit is meant to be used outdoors to get the best and safest use. We do not recommend you use it indoors, and doing so will void the warranty.
