Unfortunately, while the shoe is available in WIDE width, it doesn't actually seem to be wide. The overall fit and finish appears good, construction seems solid and I love the grippy sole but the forefoot and toe box (even on the indicated wide sizing) is just very tight and not flexible.

Perfect fit and excellent quality. First day wearing them went on a hike in the rain. Zero complaints.

I'm worn these boots most days in the seven months since I purchased them. I've also used them to hike around 20 miles of the Appalachian trail, as well as a handful of smaller day hikes. I was very disappointed by wear that resulted from about half a year of regular use. The worst of it is where the shoes is coming apart from the sole. Not only is It not longer waterproof, but it's the kind of problem that just gets worse. I'm also disappointed that the tread on the sole is wearing down so quickly. On the positive side, these boots feel great when wearing them. They are great at gripping sloped terrain.
