Timberland Kids' 6" Classic Boots

My 10yr old Daughter has hard to fit feet, to say the least! We have always gotten her good shoes usually fitted at Jamiel's or other high end stores. 99% of the time, we get her shoes, sneakers or boots, she wears them 1-2x's & complains about the fit! I'd about had it & was thinking it would cost less to move to a tropical climate & let her run barefoot!!!! So far AMAZON has been a lifesaver ( hers anyway!) I bought NB wide $40 sneakers & she LOVES them, wearing them consistently 3-4 times a week. Snow came & we had problems...... Uggs are her fav pair yet they aren't for snow & rain :( so the hunt was on! Cheap ones, wide, xtra wide, expensive ones, ones we'd never heard of- ALL didn't fit...then, looking thru the WIDE width section of girls shoes on here- I found THESE. Now I had tried a different brand of work boots & they fit terrible & were made even worse, so I worried. I waited days, looked again, 1left in her size 5.5 wide! I grabbed em' , I was desperate! They came today- I was shaking, she was scared yet another wouldn't fit... Well Dear Lord she put them on & ran around the house smiling & yelling "I LOVE EM' "!! She has a EE width, yet these in just wide fit perfect! I am now looking to buy stock in the company , as I will be buying soooo many pairs in various sizes! THANK YOU Timberland & Amazon! Love these!! I was really going to get the $180 dollar pair on the timberland website, but I decided to wait. Low and behold I hit a holy grail. I followed the reviews and got a US Big Kid size 5.5 because I’m normally a US Women’s 7.5 in sneakers. They are really comfortable and REAL! The shoes are waterproof, stylish, and less than half the price of the market value. I love these shoes. I’m more than ready for the brutal winter. SN/ They fit well while leaving just enough room for some thick winter socks.

I bought these to go with my 6 year old son's Captain America Halloween costume and also to have for a nice overall winter boot to wear to school (to hopefully avoid him changing into snowboots for recess and keep him from marking up the floor in gym class). They are really cute and seem to be of very nice quality. He loves having boots that are similar to his dads. I also purchased extra water proofing spray at a local department store to go on these before he wore them, I am not sure if necessary but thought I would try to see if it would help keep them looking nice. The Rust/Honey color we ordered was slightly darker than the traditional Wheat color Timberlands and I think it looks really sharp and hope that it will hide dirt and marks better. He has only worn these a couple of times but seems to like them so far.

I bought these boots in preparation for Winter Storm Jonas and boy, was I glad I did because I still had to go to work! I wear a 7.5 - 8 inches in women sizes and decided to get a 5.5 inches in BIG KIDS US M (M means normal width, W means wide width) after reading a ton of reviews on this site. The 5.5 inches I bought are nice and snug with my semi-thick Hanes socks and I wear them laced up tightly. I think with thicker socks like dri fit socks, it would be a little too tight. I wear a women's size 8 inches in Vans, big kids 6 inches in Supra sneakers, 38 - 39 in some European boots. All in all, I love the boots. They look really cool and definitely helped me trudge through the snow.

We bought these for our 5 year old but our 4 year old wanted the Merrell Chameleon in Wineberry. I have to say the Merrells look more comfortable as they're not as stiff, have a padded tongue, and fuller padding around the ankle. That all being said, the 5 year old loves these... because they're pink. The laces are difficult to tie as they are so slippery and tend to loosen up before you can get a good bow tied, especially for a young one just learning to tie. They are competent boots, which were hard to find for little girls. We used them on short hikes in a state park and they performed acceptably. Cannot comment on their waterproofness as we did not tromp through any water. If you have a little princess with her heart set on pink and a need for waffle-stompers, these will work.

I got these shoes for work as I knew I would be outside a lot and in and out of the woods. I am so glad I got these! I usually wear a women's 5.5 in boots with socks (4.5 in heels) and I went with the boy's size 3. I also tried the 3.5 and 2.5, I'm really glad I settled on the 3 as they seem perfect with socks and an insole if I want. I wore them out of the box for 4 days straight. The second day I woke up with a little stiffness in my ankles – minor break in period and that was it. At the end of the second day on, no issues at all, completely comfortable, I'll wear these for years I'm sure!

I actually bought these so my 3-yr old son had nice looking shoes but I didn't want loafers. These seemed durable and cross-functional. However, on a trip to Utah we packed kind of light and I knew he would have to dress up for a few occasions so I brought these boots with us. While we were there, it snowed and snowed and I hadn't thought to pack snow gear. I thought we would have to opt-out of tubing and sledding but my son was dying to play in the snow, so I bundled him up and put these shoes on him thinking he would probably get really cold and his feet would be wet, but at least he could play for a little bit.....4 hours later he comes in - pants are soaked to the skin, hands are frozen, but he had a great time. Took off these boots and thought they might be ruined at this point.....his socks and feet were warm and dry and once the boots dried, they looked brand new. I realize these are a bit more expensive than your typical kids shoe, especially as quickly as little boys can grow, but absolutely worth it if you are hiking, playing in snow, or even for nicer dress-up occasions.

Everything was good with them, lasted all winter!
