During production, the printing of the rolls gives the paper a smooth and particularly slippery surface. It is gentle on the pen used and ensures a pleasantly smooth writing experience. The ink line does not flow, but keeps its contour clear. By adding the right fillers, the paper has a relatively low transparency: the writing does not shine through on the back. The paper has been specially developed and manufactured in Germany. Review: Top Quality Paper - Top quality paper, works well with fountain pens. No problems with ink bleed. Looks great. I would recommend it for journaling and note taking. Review: Excellent quality - Excellent quality as always from Leuchttrum. The 120 gms being superior quality to the 80gms ## Features - ACID-FREE 80 GSM PAPER: Writes smoothly with a fountain pen or rollerball, without ghosting. No problems with ink bleed. Looks great. I would recommend it for journaling and note taking. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality *by T***Y on 14 July 2026* Excellent quality as always from Leuchttrum. The 120 gms being superior quality to the 80gms ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great notebook! *by R***A on 14 January 2026* Lovely notebook, great quality paper that ink from either regular pens, fountian pens or highlighters does not bleed through. You can faintly see the shape of the writing on the other side, but could be mistaken for a shadow. Definitely more on the expensive side, but for the size of the notebook and the amount of usage, I would say it's worth it! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/736182936-leuchtturm1917-notebook-medium-a5-120-gsm-hardcover-marine](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/736182936-leuchtturm1917-notebook-medium-a5-120-gsm-hardcover-marine) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
