Desert King Fig Tree The Desert King Fig Tree is a good choice for cooler climates. It is a large, deep yellow/green fig with strawberry red flesh. The King Fig Tree is a heavy producer of excellent quality, sweet figs. The tree sets a large early crop from June to August. Then sets a secondary crop. Full sun, grows to 2-3' as a container tree. Grows in zones: 7 - 10. Our sale King Figs are actively growing in 2.5' pots and are 3-4' tall. .

It's an adorable little tree right now
It's an adorable little tree right now. It came carefully packaged in a little pot. I submerged the pot in a pot of water for a few days and then repotted it and it is now outside in the sun and has grown new little leaves. It's a slow grower but I am very happy with it!

I have recently bought at least 5 new variety of figs. I love all fresh and dried figs that I have tried. I am sure that this love affair will continue. Hopefully, for a very long and "fig-ful" time.:)
