The package I received contained a headphone jack to USB-C adapter as expected. The item itself seems well manifactured, with no visible imperfections. The short cable is approximately 10cm long and seems robust. There are rubber sleeves where it connects to the end pieces, to prevent it from bending at sharp angles and prolong the lifespan of the cable. However... This adapter did not work for me. I tried to use it to connect a USB-C headset to the headphone port on a PC, and just did not work at all. The use of the adapter to connect a USB-C headset to a PC is shown also in one of the pictures on the product page, so I naively assumed it would work. The fact is that I don't even know how this adapter could possibly work in that scenario. A headphone jack does not deliver power, so how could this power a USB-C device at all? Unless the USB-C device is already powered in other ways, it is just not possible, as far as I understand, that this can work.

I have tried to use this product but I just can't seem to get it to do anything. Also, for £7 this should be doubling as a full aux jack - it doesn't. Due to lack of any functionality whatsoever and a somewhat over-priced item, I'm left with no choice to rate this at 1 star.
