An annual purchase to get rid of the nasty biting flies and gnats that descend on me and my dogs and think they can live rent free sucking blood and buzzing around being annoying! Yes flies really do bite and they do suck blood!! Not a horrible smell but not fragrant either.

I have used this spray previously, and it is very effective against flies. Wasps seem to be a little more resistant to it, but do succumb to it's charms after 20-30 seconds. It seems the bigger the insect, the more resistant they are, as I had to spray a large hornet multiple times before it dropped dead on the floor. But to kill flies and bluebottles, this spray is brilliant. Use it sparingly though, because despite the pleasant smell, you don't want to be breathing this in, as it will cause breathlessness, and god knows what else if it gets in your lungs. If you can, just use short bursts directly at the insects. Only if you have a major problem should you spray into the air to treat the entire room, then you should leave the room for an hour or so, and ventilate the room when you return. It has a long lasting effect when it settles on surfaces too, and acts as a repellant for crawling insects, such as beetles, woodlice, and spiders, so you can spray it on painted or plastic surfaces, but wood may be adversely affected, so I wouldn't risk it. It should be fine on carpets though, just remove pets from the room beforehand.

It is definitely effective, easy to use, working within seconds and leaving a pleasant scent. I highly recommend it and would purchase again. It was an excellent deal, especially during the hot weather when flies are more active, making everything worse. Value for money

The only thing that works. Lost £30 buying beautiful blue lights that catch nothing. Only problem is you need to keep stocked up and the spray is very potent. Kills all the flies as it says it does.

I bought those before i bought my fly zapper. I have a cat so i must be careful using this. It does work but you must remove pets before spraying. Even remember to cover your fish tank if you have one. There is a strong chemical smell from this. It does definitely work there is no doubt. These were also a great price

Does exactly what it says on the can. I work in a primary school and had lots of the little things buzzing round, annoying everyone. Unfortunately the headteacher wouldn't let me spray them as their parents would apparently have complained, so had to only use it on flies. Good value. Very effective, killed the majority of the flies and biddies throughout the summer. Good quantity for the price too. Only downside was delivered by Evri, who after telling me "nobody on site" - 11am on a schoolday so over 300 people on site then reattempted delivery at the local public library (next door) by leaving it on their doorstep the following day at 3pm. A confused librarian brought it to us.

Has been invaluable in this hot weather. I back onto farmland so it’s fly central sometimes. Two stars off though as it’s terribly weak compared to old days. So you use much more to kill and you need a direct hit when before the mist did the job.
