I have used Murine Bright & Moist Eyes drops for over 10 years without any issues. The original formula was perfect: very mild yet effective, with a great applicator and a slightly thicker liquid that stayed in the eye longer without spilling.Unfortunately, the new formula is a complete disaster. After just a few uses, I developed severe irritation, redness, tearing, blurred vision, itching, and eczema-like symptoms in the corners of my eyes. It’s now been over a week since I stopped using the drops, but the symptoms persist and remain uncomfortable.It is deeply concerning that a product which was once so reliable has changed so drastically—and for the worse. Given how many users have reported similar severe side effects, this new version should be immediately pulled from the market and thoroughly retested for safety.

These are the original drops I have had for years. For a few months now they have sent the new ones and I find them awful. These gel drops are soothing and remove all redness. The new ones are watery, run down my face and sting my eyes.

I saw a two pack and ordered 2 - for my maths I should have received 4 items altogether but only received 2!

The new formula is really bad. I used the original one for years happily I have dry sore eyes a lot. The new formula made my eyes worse and it stings and makes my eyes sore. I tried it over a few days and my eyes took a week to recover from being blood shot from using it. I feel sad they changed it when the original one was perfect as it was. Trying to find a replacement brand. Don’t buy the new ones

I've been a daily user of the Murine Bright & Moist drops for over 15 years - the ones in the triangular shaped bottle. They dispensed well into the eyes, felt totally neutral, and whitened/brightened and lasted for hours. A brilliant product.This revised formula is not per the above. Bearing in mind I'm a pro at applying these on the go, this new bottle doesn't dispense the drops, and if it does, lots comes out and goes all over, both in and around the eye. If you are unfortunate enough to get any of the product in your eyes, you will enjoy a burn for approximately 10 minutes, make your eyes weep, then they continue to sting for the next hour or so. These drops basically achieve the opposite of what they advertise that they do. I even tried them 3 times in case I just needed to adjust, but it was just as bad each time :(A real shame, as the product was perfect prior to this, so now I need to find an alternative. Any other regular users who agree with this review, please drop the manufacturers a line as I have, in the vague hope that maybe they will revert back to a product that actually delivers what it promises. This new formula ain’t it.

Bought these because could not find my usual Visine on Amazon. Work excellent, the gel is really useful for keeping the product in the eye instead of running out the side. And, I find the effects can last all day whereas with Visine and others I’ve tried they don’t. They do cause a slight tight feeling at the back of the eye. But, it only lasts a second. Overall, terrific product. Will definitely be buying again!!!!

Since the foluma has changed I find these sting and unlike the previous version which I used for years, does not noticably whiten red eyes.
