Great, tough and sexy :-)
Love these! They grip well, are easy use, don't slip and I love the black color. They are not like every other pair of hemostats out there and so are easier to get back when another nurse needs to borrow them :-) I've had them for months of use now on a busy med/surg floor and they are just as good as the first day I bought them.

Great product
I got these for work (I am a nurse) but they have been on my fly fishing vest for a while now. These are much more dainty than some of the ones you see available so they are perfect for removing dry flies from a fish's mouth without having to touch the fish or damage the fly. I did get a pair of fly fishing hemostat's at Cabelas which are much more beefy that I use at work (mostly for loosening iv hubs when the guy in PACU has stronger hands than Thor!!). I love the black finish and they are nice quality.

Prepare to wash your hands!
I was super excited to get these and I am very impressed with the quality. However, I was not happy with the finish. It is a nice tactical black but as soon as I touched them the paint started rubbing off onto my hands. I like them but I feel like I could have gotten the same results if I used a can of flat spray paint on my old forceps.

Solid construction, works as expected
I bought these when treating a sever burn, I need to be able to grip and remove dead peeling skin. They worked well, and helped me prevent infection by only touching the wound with sterilized instruments. Would buy this item again

Look for another seller
I've had two hemostats from this seller for about 1.5 months. Like other reviewers, I've had my share of similar stories. They're cheap, you get what you pay for. Lesson learned. 1) they work like any other hemostats, but they do feel very cheap when you handle them. The black finish rubs off very easily. With 2 hemostats in your pocket, they'll show signs of "wear and tear" in just 1 shift. The kicker for a 1 star review is how easy it was for these to snap at the handles. I've seen hemostats bend, but never snap in half. This tells me these are a very cheap metal and should t even be used for hemostats. Look for another seller, or buy good hemostats and spray them with duracoat for a lasting finish.

Cheaply made, but can (hopefully) get the job done
I just got my two hemostats in the mail. Right away, I noticed little rust spots on them while in the packaging. Upon removing one from the bag, it looks to me like it's been used before. Whether it has or hasn't, I don't know. The paint rubs off fairly easily. But, from what I can tell, they work... at least for now. I would probably go with something a little higher quality next purchase.

Great tool to have by your side or in your home!
Hemostats are imperative in my field of nursing and having a pair for those emergencies where they are needed is also imperative. These hemostats where just like any other pair of hemostats with the added appearance of being matte black. The only problem with that is you can see every little imperfection in appearance. This however does not take away from the quality of the hemostats. They are easily locked into place and don't give an ounce of give when locked into place. The also work great for removers splinters and small foreign object embedded in the skin. Great to have by your side or have them stashed away in your house for when you really need them.

Very fine and great price.
I'm a paramedic for the past 36 years and go through a lot of gear. I bouth these since I'm in a lot of tactical situations and they work like a charm. Don't discount carying a pair of hemostats as they come in very handy more times than you'd think.
