Thermos Mondial 1.8 Litre Flask.

A really large flask which replaces a very old Thermos . Always buy this brand because they are reliable and long lasting. Excellent value for money.

Bought this to take along on long drives. We often pack a ploughman’s lunch and a flask of coffee, tea or soup and go for a drive in the Highlands or to explore an area when on Holiday. We stop somewhere beautiful and enjoy the scenery while having lunch or just a hot drink. Wandering around the Highland’s west coast can be a chilly affair even in summer, so a flask of hot tea really is essential.This flask does exactly what it should. It keeps hot things hot, and even keeps cold things cold when necessary. Having two cups does make life easier for us and the extra large capacity means no one has to “make do” with just a little drink. The first use was while I was home sick in bed. With no ability to stand and make myself something warm for lunch, Hubby decided to heat me up some homemade soup and pop it in the flask. He heated the soup almost to boiling point before pouring it into the freshly washed flask at 6am before leaving for work. I finally had a cup of the soup at about 2pm and it was still piping hot and needed to be blown on so as not burn my mouth. By the time Hubby got home at 7pm, the left over soup was still hot! We were both very impressed as our last flask only kept things properly hot for about 7-8 hours.I highly recommend this flask, and bought it as it is a high quality brand we have always used. The price was very good value for the size and the packaging was great, not ott as some items from Amazon can be. We would not hesitate to buy this as a gift or to buy a replacement in the future should we need to.

Absolutely gutted - I bought this flask as We’ve used them throughout my family since I was a kid - the brand is supposed to be a great make - the second time i use it I take it on a picnic - it rolls down the grass and the glass casing shatters - there is no way this should have shattwred from such a small roll - spoke to company and they didn’t take any responsibility and said speak to manufacturers - i didn’t pay the manufacturer I paid you for the flask - utterly poor service - will never buy this flask again-

Ideal leak proof, but most importantly it keeps the drinks hot love it, but be careful as it's a glass liner.
