No it will NOT! You have selected the model for the Glock 43 and 42. Do a search for 7371-45-411 and it will fit perfectly. It must be that series of numbers for XDS, right hand, Black.

To answer your question, my experience is from numerous Glock handguns over years of use with the ALS holsters - no, this holster will not leave marks on your gun from normal, even heavy, long term use. That's one of the great features of kydex and Safariland's ALS model is the "Mercedes, or BMW" of kydex holsters. That being said, other finishes on other guns may give different results as Glocks have a very durable finish. But, imho, the trade off from gaining a high level of profeciency in practicing your draw and reholstering from one of the most proven, safe, secure and highly rated holster systems far outweighs any "wear marks" you may, or may not get on the gun.
