Purchased this to make a hole in 200mm brick wall, which I pretty sure is not what it's designed for! It's designed to fit in a normal chuck (not SDS). It took on the task brilliantly and cut a perfect hole, better than I was anticipating and without any problems. I am sure if used for the correct use this hole saw will perform very well. I can't rate it's durability for repeated use as I only needed it for one hole but it's still perfectly fine after cutting through the brickwork. Excellent product very happy.

Did what I wanted it for

Only used for one hole to access a tiled in isolation valve so dont know how.long it will last . It did cut okay with a clean finish . Able to use the inner cut out of tile as a plug to the hole i had to cut .

This item worked very well and produced a clean cut in a basic bathroom wall tile. I used a slow speed to avoid overheating and a low clutch setting to avoid jamming. I used a handheld spray mister (an old household cleaning spray bottle) to cool and lubricate the cut and I found the water washes out the cut so it does not clog up. There are no signs of wear and I'm sure I will get many uses out of it.

Cut two holes into polished concrete floor no problems at all

The core drill cut a clean hole in my granite countertop without trouble. The pilot drill that comes with the core drill is high speed steel and is not intended for hard surfaces like granite. This should be listed in the description but since I did not need it I felt 5 stars was still appropriate. The way this drill is used is to start at an angle and slowly straighten the drill up. This creates a nice channel (kerf) for the drill to follow and I did not have any wandering. Keep the drill wet which provides cooling and tends to float the cut material out of the cut. I just used a wet sponge and periodically dripped water into the cut. Pull the drill out and spin in water to remove grit and cool the bit. I only needed one hole so I don't know about longevity, but it certainly worked for me. I would buy this again. Just don't rely on the center pilot bit unless you are drilling something relatively soft.

Parfait pour percer le carrelage il faut juste vérifier le serrage du forêt régulièrement pour éviter de perdre la petite vis qui le tient. Sinon bien utilisé ce forêt fait le taf sans soucis et rend un travail propre.
