Great Value for the Price
First off, I do have one minor issue with this light: the UI. I have a small collection of flashlights with at least four other WUBEN lights, and I'm not sure why they decided to change their usual UI with this one. One of my favorite features of my other WUBEN lights is the immediate access to Turbo mode. That was removed here. The flashlight has to be turned on first before holding the button will activate Turbo mode. On top of that, the brightness cycling is not linear. First it cycles brightness up, then it cycles down. Everything still works correctly, it just takes a lot more clicks to get back to where you were if you accidentally go too far (plus you don't know if the next step will be up or down unless you remember). Aside from that, the WUBEN L3 exceeded expectations. One of my necessities in a flashlight like this is for it to tail-stand. This one passes the test. More importantly, for a flashlight in this price range, the brightness is crazy. Whether you're walking at night, checking the backyard, or just keeping it in your car for emergencies, this thing will definitely be bright enough. The beam is powerful, focused, and has great throw. For the price, you're getting performance that competes with flashlights twice its cost. It feels sturdy and well-built, like I expect from WUBEN. The battery life is solid too, even on higher brightness settings. Overall, if you want a reliable, incredibly bright flashlight without breaking the bank, this is a great choice. Highly recommend.

Unreliable and faulty
Update 7/22/25 - second replacement has tail cap switch issues. When cycling through the modes, the mode will get stuck and only way to turn off light is unscrewing back end. This light is pure junk. DO NOT BUY. This is my second L3, I had to replace the first one for several reasons. The first one had several issues that were not acceptable. The first reason was because the emitter produced a donut hole effect that was very noticeable. The other reason was when I removed the pocket clip, it took some of the paint off, and I didn’t even twist or do anything to the clip, I just pulled it straight off. Now I know it’s a tool first and foremost, but for a light that says it’s tough I don’t think the paint should do that right off the bat. As for the function, the light produces very good light. The size is a beast but the actual milling of the aluminum is great. It does heat up on the strongest setting but that is to be expected. Power bank is a great function and works great. The power of the modes is great. I like the tone of the light and throw is amazing. So overall, it’s a great light, but there seems to be bugs to work out.

Very Pleased with this L3
The Wuben L3 is a powerful flashlight. I have worked over the flashlight and I am pleased with it’s performance. I purchased the green version and I love the color. It is a dark, forest green. The anodizing is high quality, and the printing is crisp. I bought this to serve as a longer light throwing flashlight that can still comfortably fit in a pocket and it fulfills that mission well. Some of my favorite features are: * It has good throwing power but still projects some light to the sides. It provides enough flood illumination to light up your immediate area but still gives me a decent spot light capability. I feel it is a good balance between the two modes * I don’t know the exact color temperature of the LED however the light feels good to me. * The clip is beefy and large enough to fit over everything from a belt to military style webbing. It feel solid and unlike some other lights I have used, I doubt it will break easily. * Wuben has stenciled labels onto the flashlight that provide helpful information on battery location, charging port and where the light will get hot. The product label on the light is nice and crisp but not overwhelming. * The instructions have both pictorial diagrams showing how to use the light and written text! Sometimes I have found that pictorial diagrams are confusing so I appreciate the written instructions. The grammar and spelling in the instruction manual is correct for American English. * The “operating system” for the flashlight is simple and intuitive. * Wuben provides a 1 year warranty on the battery and a 5 year warranty for the rest of the flashlight. They also offer lifetime repair services for the flashlight. * Finally a high capacity flashlight that uses PD charging! It will charge at up to 18 watts (5v/2amp, 9v/2amp, or 12v1.5amp) and comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. This means it has the proper circuitry to negotiate a PD charging rate over USB C. The flashlight can be used as a power bank however I haven’t tested that function. I am sure it will work fine but to me a flashlight is a flashlight, not a power bank. This flashlight will be part of my regular carrying gear from now on.

Nice one! Bright and durable.
The picture shows a side by side with the Wuben L50. The L3 is only slightly wider and heavier, but it's much brighter, feels more durable, especially the USB-C port, and has a larger battery. This L3 a great size and weight for everyday use or keeping in the glove box, backpack, emergency supplies, etc. It's surprisingly bright for its size and price. It feels nice, solid, durable and has a good weight to it. The light is not heavy, but has enough weight not to feel cheap or delicate. I'd only consider the weight a drawback on a very long hike or backpacking trip. I'd definitely take it camping, though, especially since it can charge my phone, but I'd probably go for something smaller or lighter for a long hike or backpacking trip. I've only tested the L3's ability to function as a power bank enough to see that it did add some charge to my phone. I probably wouldn't plan on using it as a power bank, but having it as a backup could really save the day in an emergency. I like the single clicky button on the back, too. It's neat that when it's off you can hold down the half click to turn it on at the last brightness you used just as long as you hold the button down. A lot of times when I'm camping, I just want the dimmest possible light to find something in my tent really quick without blasting my nightvision. This is great for that and kind of an ironic need when you have such a bright flashlight. Similarly, while the light is on you can hold down the half click to get the brightest setting for only as long as you hold the button down. I think this is a good way to manage the fact that the brightest settings on newer flashlights get hot and drain the battery. The two half-click features help overcome the another drawback of these newer-fancier flashlights: that you have to remember different patterns and click through a bunch of different settings to get what you want. Overall, this is a good solid budget-friendly and bright flashlight. Few people have much need to spend more and it's a solid upgrade over the next tier down for not much more money.

Dangerous possible battery explosion with an unvented 18650 battery.
DO NOT BUY. VERY DANGEROUS. MAY CAUSE LOSS OF LIMB. The item I received was advertised as new, but it appears to have been previously used. I observed that the battery protective sleeve was absent between the battery and the terminal. Furthermore, when I attempted to utilize the boost mode for 3000 lumens, the flashlight immediately deactivated, which prevented me from testing that particular setting. This situation is quite disheartening. I would consider returning the item if the process were simpler; however, it seems to be rather involved. I will provide an update if I am able to find a resolution. To further complicate matters, the item was eligible for Prime shipping at the time of purchase, but it no longer is. There was also no return notice provided. Now it is no longer a Prime item, and it is listed as frequently returned. This is quite disappointing. See video for example. This has 2 modes for simplicity sake. Half press turns the light on till release. There is 2 distinct button trigger position. Half and full. So Half the full turns light on then half pressure. 5 seconds according to instructions. When doing this you can see the flashlight turns off emitiatly. Ill add a comparison of a 1200 lumen flash light vs 3000 supposed lumens. Small light is 70 percent battery large light in review is at 100 percent. While attemptingto record i could here an electric wrring sound. Thats an arck of electricity for those that dont know what that means. That will cause a battery to explode. It uses cheap non vented 18650 batteries. When these blow they have about the sane force as an m80. You loose fingers and parts of your hand. After a thorough examination, I found a oily residue-like substance on board and found more corrosion on and under the base terminal. When first received, there was corrosion on the cap terminal. I have now repaired the light. Mine now works somewhat but has to be tightened to a specific pressure or I get electrical arcing inside the housing or there is no power to the device or I get it to function but turbo does not work. Way too dangerous to use. I honestly should sue. Does not function fully. Still has issues.

7 Months of Daily Carry – Great Output, But Check the Switch Longevity
I purchased the WUBEN L3 in August 2025 and carried it as my primary EDC (Everyday Carry) for seven months. For a light at this price point pushing 3000 lumens, the performance-to-value ratio is impressive, but I did run into some durability issues toward the end. 1. Output & Performance The 3000-lumen burst is no joke. It has a very usable beam profile—enough "throw" to see across a field but enough "spill" to be useful for close-up tasks. The USB-C charging was fast and reliable, and I rarely felt like I was running out of juice during a normal day of use. 2. EDC Comfort For a 21700-battery light, it’s surprisingly pocketable. It’s "beefy" without being a brick. I used the pocket clip daily and it never lost its tension or snagged. It’s a very solid-feeling light in the hand. 3. Durability & The "End of Life" Around February 2026 (about 6 months in), the tail switch started acting up. It began requiring 2–3 clicks to actually engage the light. It felt like a mechanical or contact issue rather than a battery problem. • The Drop Test: I finally gave it a "real-world" drop on a hard surface recently. While the body stayed intact with barely a scratch, the internal electronics or the switch didn't survive the impact, and it’s now completely dead. Pros: • Brightness: Punches way above its weight class for the price. • Charging: The hidden USB-C port is a great design choice for weather sealing (IP68). • UI: The tactical switch is intuitive and easy to use with gloves. Cons: • Switch Longevity: Started failing after ~6 months of heavy daily use. • Impact Resistance: While the aluminum housing is tough, the internals seem a bit more sensitive to drops than higher-end tactical lights. Final Verdict: I liked this light enough that I actually tried to buy a second one to replace it. It’s a fantastic "budget beast" for someone who needs high output for professional use or daily tasks, just be aware that the switch might be a weak point if you’re hard on your gear.

Outstanding edc light
The wuben L3 is a sleeper 5 star light! I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but was pleasantly surprised by it's output and functionality. It has a dual stage tailswitch that let's you half press for momentary mode to the remembered last light level. A full press turns on the light. Each consecutive half press runs through the levels. Low, med, hi, and turbo. Then back down through the modes from turbo to low, then back up again. While the light is on, a half press and hold gives you turbo until you release again which brings you back to the level you started with. A double half click while on brings up the strobe function. Full click turns off the light. It is very intuitive and easy to master this interface. There is a fairly deep carry pocket clip attached and the light comes nicely packaged with instructions, the battery installed with a protective cover over the negative end for shipping purposes, a lanyard, and some spare o-rings. This L3 comes with everything you need. There is also a hidden C charge port beneath a screw off ring near the head and a charging indicator LED. The build quality is superb and the light feels great in hand. Mine came in perfect working order and the output is phenomenal. The beam pattern is a nice throwy style that will reach out to 200+ meters, and the tint of the 3000 lumens is pretty good. All in all, I highly recommended this flashlight as an every day carry pocketable stud! If you are looking for a great flashlight for everyday use at a very reasonable price... the Wuber L3 is an excellent choice.

Battery issues.
I researched and these things got incredibly good reviews. I bought one and my fiancé bought 2. Of the three, two of them have had battery issues and another the LED does not function as it should. The flashlights are bright and seem to function well. Other than replacing two batteries that were nearly new and the LED issue they are not too bad. Just not worth the price. I will go back to stream light. Much better.

Fantastic flashlight - great value
I could have spent loads more and I could even have spent much less, but I think this is the Goldilocks torch for a non-enthusiast. It is crazy bright and will light up a pitch black lane with ease. The build quality was far better than I expected and in my opinion is built as well as my more expensive fenix. It is really nice to hold and is a good weight. The finish is a high quality unlike some of the cheap torches I have had in the past. The key feature for me is that it does not require me to remove the battery and put the battery in a bespoke charger, but instead plugs directly in to a USB C charger cable. I also really like that there is an LED that can display the battery level. The lens on this is fantastic giving a relatively small hot spot and a good spread for the main beam. There is no zoom function, which for me is a benefit as it keeps it slim, I also think this is a pretty useless feature on a general purpose torch anyway. It is a shame it does not come with a case, but you can buy one. It does come with a lanyard and some spare o-rings which is nice. The button on the back works well, some of the cheap torches I have had in the past clearly save money here, but this is crazy as it is the main interface. With this torch they have clearly understood this as it is a good quality button and even has the logo on it (nice touch). I am genuinely so impressed with this torch. There are so many cheap torches that claim they are as bright or as well built and it is a minefield out there. There are also so many expensive fancy torches out there that the average person will never want to buy as they are just too pricey for the odd use on a dark night, a camping trip or power cut. Which brings me to my first paragraph, this is the Goldilocks torch, it is a reasonable price and a quality piece of kit. It is not super fancy but most importantly it is not a piece of cheap rubbish. Highly recommended!

Nice torch.
For the price, this torch is very good. I'll compare it to an old Zanflare F1 which I also own. Size is very good, easily fits in a pocket. Weight is probably as good as it can be given the build quality and size of easily replaceable 18650 battery. USB C charging is handy (better than the F1 micro usb). Beam pattern and colour temp is good, slightly cooler than the F1 and a similar spread. Brightness settings: low is good for reading books it still has enough light to dimly light the area close to you. Level 2 is good for general use. Level 3 packs a fair level of illumination. Level 4 lights up a huge amount, I rarely use it. You have to cycle through the brightness levels to access them. Compared to the F1 it isn't as good on brightness control, not far off though. You cycle through the levels via the power button at the back/bottom of the torch on the Wuben so it is possible to switch the torch off in error. The F1 had a dedicated mode button so this couldn't happen. It also hid the max brightness mode behind a double click so you didn't always access it (only when you really needed it). Has a few other modes which I'll never really use, SOS and strobe. Do I like it? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes. Has it surpassed my F1? Yes Do I use the torch on a daily basis? No, but I do use it. Would I carry it at night? Yes, perfect size and massively capable. Recommended? Yes

Potente e solida, tascabile e impermeabile.
