Ordered on July 20, 2021 We originally purchased this tent for a buddy and his dogs to use when they visited us, and funny enough? Now that our teen son & I have started backpacking this is the best option we have. This tent easily fits our wide (30") sleeping pads with room in between them for our 2 large dogs and our backpacks. I am working on replacing the fiberglass tent poles with aluminum to reduce weight, and I have some plans in the works to reinforce the floor to keep it strong against dog claws and the fact we don't use a tarp underneath. No issues with tears yet, just some preventative steps I plan to take. There will be some jaws dropped that we take this thing backpacking, but so far, we haven't found anything wide enough to fit us and the dogs that weighs significantly less. Once we lose the extra fiberglass pole weight this puppy will clock in around 5 to 5.5 pounds. Between that and the pack down size? Even backpacking tents in the hundreds of dollars can't beat those specs. After a few years' worth of use it could use some fresh seam sealer, but we have not had any issues with rain or leaks. Again, some preventative steps just to keep this thing going. We did snap one of the sections for the doorway awning, completely our fault though from poor packing and really poor handling. The actual tent poles have held up well to years of similar mistreatment. Honestly this little tent is amazing and if you're on the fence, just go for it! Ease of set up is great, one person can set this thing up in just a few minutes. Simple cross of 2 poles, pin the tent corners into the poles and then slide on the rain fly. Can & have done it in the rain and in the wind without high drama. I see there are some comments knocking the included tent stakes saying they don't work or don't work well.... here's my luke warm take on that: the stakes included with ANY tent should never be used as they are all garbage. Do yourself a favor (and save your trip from disaster): buy some legit tent stakes. Normal campers can get some lovely steel stakes at any retailer for cheap, and backpackers should know to snag some aluminum ones which are going to weigh less and like, you know, stay in the ground. Opening a new tent should be a 2-step process: 1) check that all parts are included, 2) throw the provided tent stakes away.

Great and easy to set up. Zipper can get stuck, but it lasted well in the cold and rain 😁 but deeper stakes.

We took this tent on a weekend camping trip, and let me tell you—it held up against wind, dew, mosquitoes, and my husband insisting he “didn’t need instructions.” Spoiler: he did. We fit both of us, our gear, and his snoring without a single pole snapping. Miracles do happen. It kept us dry through a surprise drizzle, and I loved the little storage pockets for flashlights, snacks, or whatever else you don’t want to lose in the dark. If your goal is a smooth camping trip with minimal arguments and maximum coziness, this tent delivers. And if it can survive both Mother Nature and my husband’s “wilderness skills,” you know it’s tough.

I’ve been camping regularly for years and have used all kinds of tents, but this tent really surprised me with how solid and user-friendly it is. I’ve now taken it on two summer weekend trips, and it’s held up beautifully in different conditions — from light rain to some pretty gusty winds. Setup was super simple (even solo), and the double layer design really helps with insulation and moisture control. I especially love the wide door and mesh windows — they allow for great airflow without letting bugs in, which is a big plus during warmer nights. The space inside comfortably fits me, a buddy, and our gear with room to spare. Definitely a great value for the quality.

Quality seems good...We didn't have rain so I can't comment on rainproof I should have looked at size not how many people fit It was small and I couldn't stand up straight and I am only 5'6" Getting in and out was a pain because the zipper is half circle which is ok I am just used to up and down. Now I know what I need to look for before I buy another tent. Not bad for the price, just not for my husband and me

Tent for two. Perfect easy up tent for two. Easy up and down. Perfect for a weekend or hiking. Comes in compact bag and easy directions. Did not leak and seems to be very durable for our purposes of hiking and weekends.

Edit #2 - Second rainfall and water is coming through the seams. Avoid this tent at all costs. - Edit - Bought a SECOND tent in Dark Grey color, and the mesh was also defective. Bought a THIRD tent in Blue color, and the mesh WASN'T defective and woven correctly. With that said, it's a nice basic tent when it's manufactured correctly. Just be warned if your mesh is woven incorrectly, return it. Or ask the seller for a replacement. I can't recommend this tent, for anything other than backyard camping. I like the size. But there's quite a big flaw. Being that the mesh holes are large, which means small bugs can enter at any time. Ants, small ticks etc.. Can enter through the mesh holes. While larger mesh holes provide better airflow. Other tents with mesh ceilings are woven with extra threads, preventing all but the tiniest insects from entering. I don't see others mentioning this, so perhaps it's a manufacturing error.

I purchased this tent specifically because it was advertised as waterproof, but unfortunately, that was not the case. During the first night of rain, water leaked in through the seams and fabric, leaving my gear and sleeping bag damp. Very frustrating, especially when you're relying on shelter in the outdoors. For a product marketed to handle the elements, this was a major letdown. I do not recommend this tent if you’re expecting to camp in any kind of wet weather. Look elsewhere for something truly weatherproof.

I purchased the 3-person CAMPROS tent and overall, it's a decent budget-friendly option, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Although the base measures 7x7 feet, all four walls slope inward, so the usable space feels much smaller. I’m 5'10" and when lying down on an inflatable mat, both my head and feet touch the tent walls. Realistically, it fits 2 people comfortably—3 would be tight. The tent has only one door, and the zipper often gets caught on the rain flap, which can be frustrating. Ventilation is also not the best, especially with the rainfly on, so it can feel stuffy at times. That said, setup is fairly straightforward and quick. The tent has held up well in mild rain, but I’d still recommend bringing an extra tarp to cover it just in case—better safe than sorry. If you're looking for an affordable, compact tent for casual camping or festivals, this is a solid option, but don’t expect a spacious experience.
