Jabra Talk 5 Bluetooth Mono Headset
Looks very well made, and was well packed in a sturdy carton. It came complete with a USB charging lead.In use, the volume is just right (for me, anyway!) and very clear.Only downside is that the manual that comes with it is huge (millions of languages), but generic - so it says things like "turn the volume down initially to avoid ear damage" - but there is no volume control on this set - or is there? I don't know, as the manual does not tell me.The manual also states "do not overcharge the battery", without telling me how long to charge it for.Or does the indicator LED inform me?The manual does not explain the meaning of signals that the LED emits. The manual does not explain the meaning of the various noises I receive whilst using the device. An excellent device, spoiled by having no meaningful user instructions.

Useless Bluetooth headset
This is possibly one of the worst Bluetooth headset I’ve owned from a well known brand. It’s difficult to play the ear loop around your ear with one hand. There’s no volume control buttons, you can only use it for voice calls, cannot use it for music, YouTube etc..What’s worst it gets very uncomfortable after a long phone call.AVOID!!!

Had one of these before and it worked great for me for years

Good quality for price
Battery life is really good. Lasted a ten hour shift. I’ve bought a few since losing my plantronics and returned them. This Jabra is as close to the plantronics as I can get. Sound quality is very good. Seems to have great noise cancellation. It’s a shame there are no voice prompts to let you know you’re connected etc only beeps. The earpiece isn’t as ergonomic as some but still comfortable enough. Absolutely great value for money.I only use it for calls but music sounds great through it too.

Sub par sound quality
Good battery life reasonably comfortable and not bad for a cheap pick up. However I have complaints that I sound like I'm underwater and I have issues using it for calls. Honestly just fork out for one of the higher priced models.

Does a good job
I like this and use it when I'm walking the dogs. The sound quality is good as long as it isn't too windy. It has to be wiggled into position but does stay in place when inserted in the ear properly. The hook is very flimsy though so take care with it. It could do with some different size buds so as to find the right size for your ear, but overall a good piece of kit.

OK but tinny and therefore low volume: Jabra talk 5
Overall it was ok, but the sound quality and volume was not up to much, really depends on whether you are comfortable with the more tinny sound of this, I wasn't so returned it, but it is really cheap imo.I only tested indoors, but cant imagine it would be audible to me outside.I'm now looking for an alternative but what there is in this price range is likely to perform about the same. Even the more expensive Jabra's don't have brilliant reviews. Spend more for a better unit, but if you are an occasional user this might be ok. Not terrible, but because i would use it a lot, I wanted something with better audio.Pairing and operationally it was great with my Samsung S23.
