Really needed some type of carry case for my R1 and was really happy when I saw this. It has a modern look to it and the carbon fiber design goes great with bright orange R1. The Casematix carry case has an external rigid shell with soft padding inside. Inside the case itself there is a foam insert that is glued into it to support the LCD screen on the R1, its specifically made that way. The zipper is high quality and it has a nice rubberized pull on it. It came with a sturdy carabiner that I use to attach it to my backpack straps. For the price point, its a nice case and protects my R1 with the right amount of protection without being too much. 5 Stars, thanks!
