Its fun I thought it was more real... lol my mistake

The board had ripples in it I will not use it

I also wrote a complete history of the Ouija Board to be given with my order to my granddaughter. We had one when her mother was little and I always remember it. However, with several children is was no more. Now it will start up in a new generationGrandma Deckard

This is not like the original. First, the planchette is very heavy. Second, the board has a rough surface, unlike the smooth board that came with the classic version. Combined, these two things make it very very difficult to move the planchette across the board. Finally, the rough surface of the board is VERY loud. So loud in fact it might just scare away any spirits wishing to talk with you. I am returning this one and purchasing an original game.

planchette is to plastic and wiggly. the board is rough and won't allow for ease of slide of the planchette which has felt on the feet. the underside of the board is the actual slippery side and won't stay put for planchette to move. so...... it's pretty but not useful.

Me and a few friends used it and my friend is now in a mental hospital because of traumatizing events that if spoken about will result in painful head shavings.

Overall this is a decent product. I don't really like the planchette, as it is made from hollow plastic to accommodate its light up feature. I would prefer a solid plastic or wooden planchette, which would feel more authentic. I may just look elsewhere for an alternative planchette because this set came at a decent price. Imo, with ouija boards, the simpler the better. no need for bells and whistles.

My package arrived on time and was due to arrive on April 22nd, but didn't arrive until April 25th. Not a big deal except that I paid for extra shipping, so i'm super happy about that. Also, the Ouija Board itself is not the same one pictured. The planchette doesn't have batteries or a light like it shows in the description. This also makes me really happy which is why I'm leaving 5 stars. This experience has been a fantastic one, and I look forward to making many more purchases. I've also learned that while leaving feedback, you can only leave positive feedback or it will be rejected, twice, like mine were. This is my third attempt at leaving feedback, so Amazon must think my time isn't valuable, so this has gone above and beyond what I would expect and am super happy about all of it. The Planchette,Two part plastic body with low magnified looking glass (also plastic). Three flat felt (and thin) coasters on the underside for a smooth glide and to reduce damage to surfaces.The planchette came in a black plastic bag. It took three AAA batteries to allow the looking glass to glow blue when slight pressure was placed on the top of the planchette body. I needed a screwdriver to access the battery case.I disliked this for several reasons:When placed back in the bag batteries could wear out due any weight the bag places on the top.If you plan to remove the batteries after each use you risk stripping.The Board,Course matte finish with wooden print and white lettering that glows in the dark after left in light for some time.The board came slightly warped as Hasbro placed it on the very top of the inside box. This was easily fixed when placed on a flat table then stored at the bottom of the box after use. The cardboard seems to be of some quality, common with all board games. As well, there were no folds to disrupt movement of the planchette.I found two issues with this board:The course matte finish didn't allow smooth movement of the planchette; the whole board slid across the table as the planchette stayed in place. To correct this I used cling wrap on the board surface.The glow in the dark lettering was hard to make out after lights were turned out. I had no issue with the larger alphabetical lettering, but the Yes, No, Goodbye, Sun, Moon, and corner symbols are hard to make out due to the thin lines they were printed in.I would not suggest this to other customers despite liking it myself. The lesser expensive version with glowing board (black lettering), and glow in the dark planchette without batteries would work better, although less pretty then this one.

This version is OK. The planchette is battery operated which requires you to press harder than you should when using a planchette normally.. This is why I have not used the planchette at all. I use the board occasionally with other planchettes, but the surface is a bit rough. Stick to the original board with the white plastic planchette.. Much easier to work with.

It was much smaller than I had thought. Really flimsy. It wasn't what I had hoped for.
